Yep according to their twitter, it will be Wednesday arvo. Not sure about Cox, but i reckon Mcintosh might be a chance to be upgraded to a R/F.

On yesterday's performance you could make an argument that we will finish last. Last may net us picks 1 and 2, with our mid round pick, pick 11. No one can trump pick 1 for Viney, so we will only have to use our 2nd round pick, pick 23 or so. Picks 1, 2, 11, Viney out of the draft. Problem solved.

Opposite problem for me. 2nd game in, and my stocks are already stretched. And boy do i hate this sub rule. Nothing worse than when your player is racking plenty of possessions, and the coach subs him off.

Its also open on gameday (at least for day games). The MCC give us a great deal on rent, and because of that, our shop is one of the more profitable ones out there (even though i'm sure other clubs turn over much more merchandise).

If you are trading Ablett, you'll probably need a multi-player deal to get it done. Any type of position / category you are looking to strengthen?

It's as you say it. Your squad of 27 players is finalized for that round so any trades / signings won't be available until round 2. But you can make any team selection changes right up until the following Saturday unless that player had already played that round

Stanley, Milne, O'Halpin and Saad all are on the table if the right offer comes along.

Great work guys- can't believe we got it done in under 2 hours. My mistake about the round 2 starting time - i've changed it back to round 1. I couldn't help picking up forwards, at the expense of my defence. Would love to swap a forward for a defender.

From last year i think once you get into the league page, it gives you a link. If anyone from the other league is reading this, they may be able to give us a clue. Inviting your missus over is a big mistake. When you end up picking Liam Jurrah with a 3rd round pick, we'll know who to blame! If we left it for 5 mins per pick, we'll be here til the early hours of the morning. I'd probably go Ablett if it was my choice.

Its 1 minute per pick, and Jastone, i've already put through the trade of our picks. If you check the draft order, out 1st and 2nd round picks are swapped

Hey guys - less than a day until the draft. I'm going to make an executive decision and not play the bye rounds - as DL7 was the only objection and he's not even playing in the league!!! See you all in the draft room - 8pm Mebourne time!!!

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i was under the impression when the positions change, a player will never lose a position, only gain one. For example, Stefan Martin in 2011 started off as a back. When it became apparent he was spending a fair amount of time rucking, they added ruck as a position, but still kept his position as a back (and probably should have been a ruck / forward). If thats the case, i don't think there is a disadvantage if they add a position, only an advantage. Hmmm going over the bye rounds - my simple maths tells me that there will be only 264 players playing those weekends (12 x 22) but if everyone wants to field a starting 18, we will need 288 players (16 x 18). I'm now leaning towards not playing during the bye rounds.

Given there were no objections, Jastone and I have swapped first and second round picks. Draft order is final. Less than 3 days to go until draft time! I'll be curious where our Melbourne players will get picked. Will we overrate our own? Will Jurrah get picked up? How early will Magner go?

Channel 9 newsbrief just stated that up to 50 people may have been involved. May be a case of arrest em all, and sort it out later.
