  1. Uncle's new chariot
  2. Watts, Trengove, Hogan of late. A large bunch of 1st rounders in the last 15 years, few successful
  3. Last post on this from me. His previous prediction was 100% incorrect. What are the odds, eh? Drafts are generally predictable to those who take an interest by the week before. I have no doubt that list managers talk to journos. I also have no doubt that a so-called anonymous source on a fan forum does not define us as any more leaky than the Roos era. Claiming otherwise is just shitstirring. Over and out
  4. Which, as you say, was preceded by a prediction that was 100% wrong. Again, throw enough scenarios out and at least one is bound to be correct. In the end, Lord Travis' case for us being leaky is based upon his contrarian draft prediction post, tenuous at best. We are nearly all anonymous on here, but only a few claim club inside intel and then get shirty when questioned. You can prefer whatever you like, as will I.
  5. So in a clear exercise of self promotion, a poster claims to have an anonymous MFC club link and after a number of attempts, names 12 of the first 15 picks correctly (not 13) and that's proof that our club has gone from tight lips to leak city? Righto. Despite the belief that sources should not be revealed, I'd want to know the name of the club source at a minimum before giving credence to a contrarian poster.
  6. Yes, indeed. Good work Duncan. Throw enough scenarios out and at least one is bound to be correct.
  7. Yeah, who would possibly have thought we were in need of a tall who can play forward or in the ruck, or that we need a small forward with X factor? FMD....
  8. Indeed, dc. As a wise friend once told me: when your pecker stands up, your brain sits down.
  9. Hmmmm...... Rance retires and there is almost no social media tributes from teammates. Wonder why? I've heard that Jack Higgins might be able to spill the beans!
  10. A fit Viney and VDB in 2020 makes me salivate.
  11. I read the thread title and thought 'Goddard tips' was about his hissy fit entering the change rooms at half time
  12. Great bumper sticker this year!
  13. Good to see you back and positive as ever, Toady
  14. That car is too nice for a MFC sticker Earl. You need a rust bucket like Biffen's for stickers. His is literally held together by them!
  15. On a par with Australia's top 10 ice hockey players...
  16. The Jag will just have to go without then!
  17. Youth is wasted on the young.
  18. It isn't if it's not a Christmas gift. Doesn't help by the club promising to deliver pre Christmas
  19. A guy walks into a bar and takes a seat. Before he can order a beer, the bowl of pretzels in front of him says "Hey, you're a handsome fellow." The man tries to ignore the bowl of pretzels, and orders a fine Pilsner beer. The bowl of pretzels then says "Ooooh, a pilsner, great choice. You're a smart man." Starting to freak out, the guy says to the bartender "Hey what the hell, this bowl of pretzels keeps saying nice things to me!" Bartender says "Don't worry about it, the pretzels are complimentary..."
  20. Not sure about the wealthy bit, Uncle. Compared to your stately mansion my humble workers cottage looks like servants quarters. And what's wrong with putting my head in a clacker? You should try it sometime.
  21. Didn't notice you saying that to the other chap when he started with the 'playing the man' tactic.
  22. Ill just leave this here...
  23. I drove past Goshes yesterday morning (Sat) about 9.30 and some were out there doing running and what looked like match sim work. The tent was up and some of the coaches were directing play.
