Whilst not knowing the finer details of MCs mental health (like every other poster on here), it would be fair to say that some clubs do see his mental health as a factor in choosing whether or not to chase him. There has been much speculation surrounding the circumstances of Clark's 'retirement', but to say that he couldn't play only because his body physically kept breaking down and not because of his declining mental health is simplistic, to say the least. Depression was pretty high up on the reasons when he announced his retirement and it's more than likely linked to his inability to get on the park.
