  1. *you're There are none more lightweight than you Curry, putting both feet in your mouth on a weekly basis! Tell us again, are we going to get band 1 or band 2 compo when Howe leaves as a FA, even though he isn't one!!!!
  2. Good little interview post match with Bernie in the rooms. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2015-04-18/rd-3-bernie-vince-postmatch Apologies if link posted previously.
  3. Bernie is certainly 100% a Melbourne player, 100% behind the club. Anyone who thinks he is soft on Adelaide is a fool.
  4. Wasn't bruise free, was it?!!
  5. If only he could consistently kick a bag like Jako used to...
  6. Geez Ken Hinkley speaks very well. Concise, articulate, smart and excellent grasp what he wants from the players.
  7. You might be right red, if he turns out as good as Buddy, I don't care how oddly he kicks it. The speed and pace of Casey would make set shots considerably easier than at AFL level, I suspect. He would be blowing harder lining up for a goal now, which is where technique comes into play more. My point was not made because he missed one goal, more because his set shot technique is flawed. We shall see in time, of course.
  8. Yep, and roos is in his 50's too, but only one of them in the after game presser discussed violence against a player or questioned a player's courage from the match. Roos was measured and showed his considerable media experience.
  9. Sure, why not. 'Cause Richmond did so poorly against the Lions tonight.....
  10. Walsh is show the immaturity of a rookie coach. Should have more media training if that's his best effort.
  11. Open hand, was going to push him on the chest, or grab his jumper on the front. His hand appeared goalie up and clip his chin. Nothing in it.
  12. The worst team of the last 10 years to smash a team that played finals last year? Hmmmmm.......
  13. Matt Jones in for Jetta. Now I've heard it all!
  14. ^^^ this, big time.
  15. Red if you think Hogan's set shot action is ok and can be addressed later you should be following Hawthorn. They can wait, we need goals, now.
  16. It's a shame that selection is based upon what we have rather than those who deserve to play next week. Otherwise Watts, Dawes, Kent and one or two others would be playing at Casey.
  17. ^^ this. Both need to be addressed and should be addressable
  18. Malthouse won't be at Carlton in 2016, unless they are absolutely, completely, comprehensively, ridiculously mad. A new coach would be likewise unless they got Watts for pick 65.
  19. Well they need to learn to do something else Dazzle except for spill marks and provide few goals...
  20. Maybe not our worst, but he's paid nearly the best amount. His job is to kick goals or contribute towards kicking goals. Fail.
  21. Agree 100% about Hogan's set shots. In the long run, that action needs to be rectified to get the most goals in his career. I don't GAF how many he kicks at training. Run in a straight line towards goal and keep the ball steady, follow it onto your boot. Only Buddy can now do anything different and get away with it on a regular basis. Melb needs Dunstall or someone similar to work with him to get it right while he is still very young. Other than that, he's a fantastic prospect.
  22. Crows converted well while Dees missed too many gimmes
  23. Yes, the Crow mids read his taps easily. It was almost as if he was tapping to their advantage. You'd think he came from Sth Aust......... oh, wait....
  24. Whoever said Dawes competed hard needs to look at what we actually need. A big forward's overwhelmingly main job is to either kick goals or contribute towards goals. That's what he is paid top dollar for. He does not do this enough.
  25. Bad day for fall forwards, but Dawes and Watts were poor contributors for second week running. Honestly, I'd rather see Pedo and/or Fitzy get games.
