  1. Rather a mid like Hopper or Dev Smith from GWS. Out of contract, yet to accept the GWS offers. More getable than Kelly, Dusty or this Clown from Norf
  2. Not that I have any idea of the money involved, but I would think it might need to be at least $200k more than Adelaide's offer for him to choose us. Playing and winning a final might also help our cause with any player we are chasing
  3. Avid readers! Bwahahaha!!! Do they wear their spy glasses and use the shoe phone while going through all the threads? Someone please post an image of the Get Smart agent who hides in tiny places. The best story they'd get on here would be about BBOs jolly good flogging habits
  4. FMD! I'm going up for the game and I fear I'll stay frozen to the seat until springtime
  5. Take the red n blue glasses off mate. Zac would be best 22 and has 8-10 years of best 22 ahead of him at swans. His high draft pick and the reported 4 year deal is reflective of how he is valued.
  6. Tell that to Hipworth from Brisbane
  7. The more of his face that's covered the better Biffen, regardless of colour
  8. I think Hogan is genuinely better than those three. The problem is that, for various reasons, we are not seeing it and won't for some time. This year has been his annus horribilis. Will we ever see it again?
  9. Can't see it happening Earl. Wishful thinking perhaps. We'll see in a few months
  10. If not Zac, who then? We need a mid with line breaking speed. Outside run
  11. FMD What a loony idea. We have Hogan, TMAC, Watts and a developing Weid. Enough already
  12. You think? Players are often at the club by 8am and don't leave until 5. That's 5 days a week, then there's match day. Not forgetting other club related appearances, marketing promo, and in the case of Jack Watts, saving kittens from busy roads. Point being that fit players don't have a great deal of free time, probably why some tie one on when they do. Smarter players will keep their nose clean and use the chance to set themselves up with a career after footy.
  13. And this deserves a new thread because....? http://demonland.com/forums/topic/42366-drinking-session/
  14. Would've thought if the forecast definitely predicts rain we might bring Jones and Vince in for Hogan and either Trenners or Hannan. If no rain, the Weid is a chance
  15. I think Dusty will get more votes than Danger anyway... ...but not as many as Oliver
  16. I blame the loss to Norf on Demonland going down
  17. Oliver had all the time in the world in the last qtr as he streamed forward only to be run down unaware from behind. On the replay he took about 8 running steps, quite a long time. I saw 3 Melbourne players within reasonable earshot. Harmes was about 10m away facing him. Why the fk didn't someone scream to him that he was 'hot'?
  18. Hate to say it, but in a year where no team stands out and a top 4 spot could give a club a big chance at a flag...... this might just be the year of the Tiger. God that would make me puke.
  19. "It ruins some lives, enough to matter. Wish we weren't dependent on them. But hey, no one is forcing them and it's legal. It doesn't effect me. If we didn't, someone else would." FMD...
  20. Harmes is an interesting one. He has some attractive skills and can attack the ball well with an angry, confident attitude. But to me there seems to be a frantic element which means he makes poor choices or his disposal lets him down. Lacks composure. Still only 21 and like a lot on our list, less than 50 games. I get the feeling that he (and maybe ANB, JKH, Stretch, etc) could become handy players when they get to the 80-100 game mark. The question is, will the wait be worth it/can we wait that long?
  21. Out: Hogan, Trenners, ANB or Hannan In: Weed/Pedo Jones Vince Send out a telegram to Stretch: "where the [censored] are you?!!"
  22. Week after week of panicked long bombs into the 50. When the [censored] will it stop! Have to sort out the forward structures/patterns and teach guys upfield to look shorter
  23. I agree, but it's also worth remembering that they made a pretty packet by selling them. Their finances are struggling and they may well feel the pressure again to relocate. I applaud their decision to not continue with pokies, wish all clubs could, but similar to the State govt we are addicted to the income stream. AFL would be wise to stop the hollow social justice talk, grow a pair and truly help clubs get away from them. Now that would be a noble legacy for Gill to leave
