Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Moonshadow replied to stevethemanjordan's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hope so Adam, otherwise we'd have many eggs on our face. Still, wouldn't be a bad thing to shut up until it's signed, sealed and delivered. -
Always a given with you

Is that what you'd call 'having skin in the game' Biff?
-
Freudian slip Uncle.

With PA securing Hinkley for 3 more, Jade Rawlings is looking like a chance at GC http://m.afl.com.au/news/2017-09-18/new-coach-rawlings-in-mix-after-suns-miss-their-man

You sat on that for a while Billy. You're Demonland's own broody chook!

I hear Josh Kelly is keen on a move to the Dees

Joke. Did you miss the link between King's foot and White's face? Forget it...

And what a neat foot King had

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC

Thank [censored] for that. Hasn't happened much since Roos left -
Lou Richards grandson. Wonder if there is pressure at the pies to take him early. Hope so. He's not expected to go at 6 or 7 or whatever their first pick is. Love to see a bit of Collingwood premature speculation.

Yours is as speculative as mine mo64. Only Milera, his manager and the AFC would know the bolded part. -

Adelaide want it both ways: they think he's worth the insulting amount of $300k pa but believe him to be worth 2 X first rounders. Yeah, sure... Lever could put a huge price on his head (front loaded) and go into the draft for us to use at 10 and they'd get zilch for him -
Impressive kit you've got there dc. Do your blue risers use them too?

Hibberd and now Viney making comment. I liked it much better when we STFU. Hopefully we get Lever. If not I suggest the MFC turn up to the draft wearing "I'm with stupid" signs around their necks -
If we trade Gawn and have no real ruck I'll cry like that Richmond supporter on talkback a couple of years ago when GWS were pounding them by 120pts at 3/4 time Sheer madness IMO. If Max was an average ruck and mark I'd be a little more receptive. But last year showed he's in the best 2 or 3 in the league. One of our few players that can change the course of a game.

Comparing Danger RFA situation to a non-RFA out of contract pkayer is apples and oranges -
Might be 17 from Crows if they win the flag (GWS have no 1st rounder this year), possibly even higher once academy and f/s bidding are completed. Crows would want more than 5 for losing Lever + 17. And we'd seek more than Lever and 17 for Hogan. Freo are massive winners there. Letting Hogan leave would set our finals chances back a long way as we'd effectively have no decent key forward. TMac, Watts, Pedo and Weid aren't that. Had Hogan played 20 games this year I have no doubt we would have seen at least 1 MFC final

Where are the reports from Febes?

Anyone speak Plunket able to translate this? Actually, forget it...

Thought you weren't born by then Toady

On $1mill ea over 10 years?

That sounds reasonable, as long as he's not toxic to the rest of the group. Guys like Clark and Lumumba should have taught us a few lessons in due diligence
-
In that case, let's get Plugger, Dunstall and GAS to the club. We'll be nailing them from the boundary
