Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever

You forget Essendrug saved about $1mill in player payments whilst those 2 were suspended. Fair? Hardly. Got out of jail more likely. -
Too many speckies on PJ's back in the boardroom?

Time to enact the No DH policy at MFC. Pass

Looking at you Adrian Dodododododo -
Matthew Ling from Falcons (no relation to Cameron) looks to be a very classy left footer with good pace and decision making. Hate to say, but he reminds me of a certain ex #1 pick that used to play for us. Currently running out of half back and certainly could move into midfield. Slight body, hunts the ball and will fill out. Not sure if he'll be available at our current second rounder, but I like the look of him. Quite a few talls high up in this draft, a small running machine may slip under the radar.

I heard Gibbs and Lever were being merged into the same player.... Giver I'll see myself out.... -
The bounce stats are a good example of how misleading these things can be sometimes. It would be interesting to see a comparison of meters gained with a score (for or a turnover against) shortly after, say, within the next minute. That's the value of meters gained. Spray a long kick out of def 50 and it is likely to slingshot back over your head for an oppo goal. Lower the eyes for a lead and mark inside our 50 and bingo, goal.

Watts I can live without. Salem going would break my little heart into 1000 pcs -
Saad had a tendency to bounce every 2 steps. With short legs that doesn't add majorly to meters gained

I know it's only a highlights package, but that compilation of Petruccelle isn't flattering in terms of disposal and clean hands. I like his attack on the ball though.

I'll have to take them one at a time Biff. My deadly treadly has but one rear rack to tie them onto. Speaking of 'tying one on' I fear the more senior members of this dining party may get out of control and trash poor Bitter's mansion. I do hope he hides his cask wine collection before they arrive

I'd love to see Stringer cost Essendrug a mint and totally [censored] them up.

Not rumour, but Conor McKenna re-signed for 4 yrs at Bombers. On AFL site.

Maybe this thread should be renamed 'ridiculous trade rumours' ??? Seems to me that any rumour here is (at very best) speculation and more often than not, full of bs and should be taken as such But I like the party culture bit, that's a club I'd like to be a member of. What's that quote by Groucho Marx about not sure they'd want me as a member?

I'm calling it, Lever is ours then! -
Party culture? Can I go there?....

More likely to happen than for the Weid to leave imo
-
The Weid isn't worth much now as trade bait. With a big preseason he might come on next year or in 2019 (remember he's still very young) and be worth much to the team, either as a future MFC kpf or even in a trade. If he doesn't come on next year or in 2019 he won't be worth much in a trade and we're back to where we are now. My point is he's on our list and its worth continuing the development to see what becomes. Give him the time and development a tall, young player needs. There's a reason why TViney, Taylor and Roos wanted him.

Surely as the basis of their trading the club's recruiting guys look at the actual draft pick number rather than round of draft pick -
Talking Footy said Mason Cox signed on with Pies for 3 more

And you know this because....?

Because by round 1 2019 Pedo will be 32. I doubt longevity is his thing.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS

Looked dishevelled, stubble and hair unkempt. Didn't recognise him, except the loud mouth voice was a giveaway. Probably touched the fruit and veg, which means they're no longer organic -
