On the second point Yze is the midfield coach did nothing while the onslaught went on in the first quarter. Where was Yze's response when we were getting belted in the centre last night coaches these days just seem to wait till a break comes, if Harmes gets a game next week it is laughable, bring in Schache for Tmac, JVR for Melk. but we will stick with the same.

A big part of it is the game plan still too slow with ball movement.

Harmes is a one way runner and has terrible football IQ if he gets a game next week it's a joke, time to move on from Tmac he has the turning circle of the titanic, now is the time to make changes, they still have trouble moving to ball at pace through out the game or chipping it around until they can move it on quickly.

Don't get carried away with the 11 point loss, I have said in another post we would not get within 6 goals of the pies, I was wrong we won't get within 10 goals if we play like that, we have an inability to chip around the ground till something opens up, we just kick it long down the line again, forwards standing behind their opponents, you cannot get a free standing behind, damm frustrating . I still cannot understand how coaches can see there midfield was killing us but kept the same setup, what ever happened to to stop the bleeding first reset then go again

Whilst there was some change in ball movement and I'm sure as the season rolls on it will get better but we will not get within six goals of the pies at this stage, I was impressed (hard to say out loud) with how they fling the ball around, made passes inboard over the opposition heads where we could not, next week will be a test, the lions will bounce back hard. But is is good to start the season off with a win and percentage.

I hope it is Caulfield but that will take a long time, as for the demographic people that have been living there might be Melbourne supporters but the kids follow family, friends, in their choices of teams, an example past players who had kids where they follow another side and not the side their father played for it's all changed in how they pick their sides to barrack for.
