The teams we have beaten so far are #11-#16. Yes, I know you can only beat who you play!! Let's see what happens when we start playing better sides. Perhaps we'll beat all those sides, perhaps not? In any event, chalking up all these wins early in the season is (obviously) gold, and in the absence of a massive slump/injuries to many key players sets up a final 4 (hopefully final 2) finish. I've supported this Club for over 50 years. It's a weird feeling.

I had a great seat on Level 2 in the Members. Sadly I'm not there cos I've got a slight case of the "not so wells". A Demons win will certainly assist my recovery!! Go Dees !!!

I think that Tmac is better than Weid, but he is clearly in decline. Weid has potential upside. Which is presumably why he will be preferred to Tmac moving forward. As for the other 'ins' this round, Smith is clearly Goody's love child. And Dunstan is an obvious inclusion. No point in having recruited him if he was wasn't selected in this situation (Viney out).

A question. In Q4 of Bulldogs v Crows, Weightman clearly ran through the protected area. Even the commentators pointed that out. Needless to say, no 50 metre penalty. Had a crows player simply pointed to Weightman running, would that have constituted umpire disrespect?

I doubt that Angus will play on ball, he's doing too well at HB and/or on the wing. The coach will 'make do' with JJ/Sparrow/Harmes/Nibbler/Kozzy to fill Viney's absence. I wouldn't mind seeing Harmes having a 'run with' role with Bolton. No way TMac will play on the wing. It was tried before and was a failed experiment. I doubt that he will play back either, although that would be my preference. Smith is clearly Goody's love child, so he will get the gig replacing Lever. Not sure where that leaves TMac. 3 talls forward isn't an option, so perhaps he's dropped or med sub.

The references in various posts to Melbourne as "the shemons" display extraordinary wit and intelligence on the part of those Tigers'supporters. Breathtaking. I'm also impressed that these 4 year olds are so computer savvy.

I agree with other posters that Tommy Mac should replace Lever on the backline, and Brown/Weed forward. Re Viney. I don't rate Bedford or Melksham. So the other inclusion would be Dunstan, Smith or Tomlinson. The Club seem to love Smith, so I guess he'll get the nod. Poor Tommo.

Hmm, can't say I agree. Sam gets his hands to quite a few but then drops the mark. Sometimes he is the only one with his hands on the ball. He really needs to do better ... he has been on the list for at least 6 years. Jacko drops a few too, but he has improved considerably, and will keep doing so. (Not at all concerned about him.)

Re commentators ... Way too much fawning over Hawkins. Good player obviously, but a genuine #$% bloke. FFS, call out that cheating. Lyon, Reiwolt, Robinson, Whateley etc ... If it was a lesser player, e.g. Nibbler, they'd make a meal of it. Same with his 'pushes'. It was hilarious in the last few minutes Duckwood was up to his old tricks. Fortunately the umps didn't fall for it. If anything, he should have been pinged for HTB ... but the umps had pretty much put away their whistles.
