Agree on both counts. I will victim blame - just dumb in this day and age to put those sort of images into someone else's hands. I will also offender blame - both the recipients of the photo's who passed them on and the publishers of the material should be held to account. I tried to take those sort of pictures of myself but they don't make a selfie stick long enough to be able to get all of the necessary scenery into the photo.

I thought the context was right. He compared the AFL's performance over tanking to the doping scandal. I dont think the handling of either issue has been one of the AFL's shining moments.

I have heard so many people draw the analogy that when you go to your doctor and he says take these - you usually don't question - you expect everything to be on the up and up and you trust . But in these professional times when fitness staff dictate what you eat, how much sleep you need to get and how much time can be spent at training on goal kicking practice due to load on the leg muscles I am certain they would like to have a similar say on any activity like playing basketball - whatever form it takes.

I have always been in players camp - when your coach/administration stands up in front of the entire squad and says " we will be doing a supplement program - don't worry its all kosher" ( paraphrasing is mine) - team first and foremost dictates you would have accepted this. It did strike me as odd that not one parent or manager questioned or queried what was transpiring but not that the players didn't. I have spoken to a couple of players and they have said that they have on many occasions being given a pain killer or something of that kind by the club doctor without asking what is was. As a player, you are conditioned not to question "the team". However after reading this “Of 30 ASADA testing missions during the period in question, none of the 18 players tested declared the injections, despite being asked each time whether they had taken any supplements.”my sympathy has gone down the gurgler. I fully expect that if the players thought everything they were taking was kosher then they would have had no problem answering the above questions truthfully. Being asked 30 times whether they are taking supplements and 30 times answering no....sorry...no sympathy for the players at all.
