  1. I hope it is us, would love to see Fev make amends and bring his best in the red and the blue.

Risk versus reward in imo... best way to negate risk is through Due dilligence. We HAVE done that, in practicaly all areas of our footy dept. I know at least 10 family and freinds who will be buying a membership, some for the first time and some not since daniher days. If we have a 30-40% rise in memberships in 2012, this will continue to offset the debt incurred. Not to mention if we string wins together, attendance will offset too. Some one has already said, "build it and they will come", couldn't agree anymore. And lets see what happens in next weeks Draft and then in the new year with our recruitment of players. We are truely laying the foundations for our next decade of dominance... Carn the mighty Dees
  3. Just saw this on the Adelaide now website http://www.adelaiden...3-1226143984302 Sad if true, but his name doesn't come up in my best back six... even after 1 or 2 injuries.
  4. Agreed Fitness, and dare i say Fev also an outside chance? Melbourne has always said he isn't in our plans, but Neeld may have different plans. And many of our guys have passed to him laces out, and some of our small forwards have kicked goals off his scraps! I see the benefit, some see it a risk. Dawes is probably first choice.
  5. Watched him all year, did well against lowely teams on the 3rd best backman. Pettard is more mobile, better hands, and a will be a house hold name in 2 years. Gunstan, will be fondly remembered by the croweaters here... 'who cried and went home to his mummy and daddy'. They obviously forgot about Scotty Thompson. Not a power forward, not needed in my opinion. Would make a great Step ladder in training though for Howe!!

Craigy had a habit late in his tenure to drive his players to breaking point, look at the long term injuries in seasons 10,11 trying to do something different. Do i think he has something to add? absolutely, but could he take a backseat to Mission? That i am not sure of.

Southwark can be found in many forms (they sell it to pubs on tap to rebrand as their own pale) But i would happily neck a few pints with you all when the Dee's come to smash Adelaide or Port next Season!!

Southwark is an aquired taste... you have to acuire it, but it happens in time, i much prefer my victorian beer though!! I married a South Aussie... one decision i'll never regret. And living on the beach 20 minutes from the city (a small collection of churches) was a pretty good compromise i reckon. But once you get used to the one-way freeways and the lack of any adherence to road laws and the water... sorry, you'll never get use to the water... it's not such a bad place to live. But you DO get sick of the 2 team town syndrome, and watching live footy in the outer at AAMI with your favourite Dee's scarf is not for the faint hearted!! lucky i can say things like "least at my home ground i can drink in my seat" or something equaly as witty as that

One thing That Craigy is not, and what Neeld appears to be... is a "player Whisperer". Craigy's downfall at adelaide was his inability to motivate his troops to succeed. (just look at the response Bicks got from the players when he went) He isn't a visionary in motivation but in process and results produced from that strict adherence to process. Craigy is perfect for fitness and conditioning, but i feel with MFC signing Ex Saints Fitness coach Mission, Craigy should apply elswhere. We don't need his stagnent one-eyed approach to gameday in my opinion. BTW Why you little, Glenelg is still nice, just don't drive around here with VIC plates... they still hate us mexicans
  11. Dunstall said it best on the "insider" show on Fox. 'There comes a point in a teams time, when they need to stop TALKING about doing it... and just GO AND DO IT!!
  12. Thought it might be great to suggest some banner Ideas for tomorrows Game, i'll start us off: "Look out North here come the Dee's Just don't tackle too hard, coz you might Get three" If anyone else has any ideas let it rip!
  13. If sure all of you who watched the footyshow would have been as impressed as I was at how profesional and articulate Trengove was being interviewed by Hutchy after his appeal. Let us all take a leaf out of his book and move on. No doubt this was the greatest attrosity in football this year, but next round it will be another club and another opponent. Lets take the frustration out on North and break our Etihad hoodoo! And maybe some Banners People?
  14. Here in Adelaide, everyone was talking about Tappy and Trenners leading up to the game... And probably more so today. I don't know if channel 7 mentioned it but Tappys 60 metre Goal against Adelaide was his first for the Club apparently... Congrats Tappy!! And i think he is so talented that he will be the bench mark in the years to come... not comparing him: 'looks like Hodgy, Chappy' or anyone else... He's ggod enough to make his own mark. And Trengove just wants the pill, for a bloke in just his 2nd year of AFL to demand so much of it, he most certainly will get better and better and be an elite player in our competition let alone just our team.
  15. Roos is everything we need in a coach... His modern, uncompromising, and his players gave their all regardless of stature or ability. He is what we need for our list. Look at how well longmire is doing after his tutorship, This is the only option forward for our Club in my opinion.
  16. One thing which has become clearly evident this year is Bailey's lack of a plan B!! Sorry, he has got a Plan B it's Called B.O.H.I.C.A = Bend Over Here It Comes Again!!! Like others have said, we don't know how to slow down and kick to a leading target and stiffle West Coasts pressure. We Over used the corridor to the point that our boys can't kick to a target on the boundry. I saw this too many times last year, and we will continue to get undone by not adapting to any given situation or pressure. It's time for Bailey to get off the pot, he's doing more harm than good now. Our list will no longer develop but probably go backwards! We need a coach that has a proven record in developing young talent. Does any one else think Roo's comments on our list and game plan is indicative of his interest in the Job or just his own general opinion?
  17. W/jack, E25 and others are right about Leadership for Davey. As the most senior indigenous player on our team the right choice would most likely be Vice Captain as he would already be considered a leader by the younger indigenous playing group and certainly looked to for guidance. I think maybe in Victoria he is not recognised as a outstanding talent, but back home in SA he is considered as one of the best exports this decade, certainly up there with likes of Didak, Pavlich and Gibbs.
  18. Hrob, From the footage i saw on Fox, Wonna played in the middle for some stage of the game!! Imagine Davey and (very) fit Wonna rotating out of the middle? Gigidy gigidy!
  19. I got to see Tmac play SANFL for the Panthers, he was probably a better player than A. Davey and Carlisle who came out of the same team. He just needs a fair chance. It would be unfortunate to see him flourish in another team who will take the punt on him. Just my honest opinion.
  20. I don't know what everyone is worried about... his Dad wasn't playin Ruck along along side Jimmy or a tall key position player!! I think it's great he'll be undersized for the ave Afl footballer, means we'll have no competation come trade week next Year!! The crows certainly won't look at him seeing Dad has left and come home to Melbourne!!
