  1. i dont see how, at this moment, you could put morton, warnock over jones and macdonald. trengove's injury obviously wouldnt put him in our best 22, but at 100% hes in. Jones has had a far better year than morton. Dunn is up on form and bate is down, so i agree with that section, but i think Mcdoanlad's (joel) form warrants him over Warnock. anyway am very happy to see everyone has their own side, beause if we didnt, this feed would be very boring.
  2. will be there in the 2010 gurnsey, big number '2' on the back
  3. Nathan Jones, whilst he loves a tweet or two, is the epiteme of a work engine, in which the leading cylinder is Maloney. Now abviously (due to the name), there may be some bias here, but he has done some fantastic work this year, and like all players has not played 100% in some games. Hes not to be dropped. does anyone think they will rest Scully this week? i think its a possibility, but it would completley go agianst the theory of getting games into the young boys. i think the boys have to be prepared to complete an entire season. in short: Out: JB, Johnson In: Maloney, Trengove
  4. Is he going to the gold coast. Is it on the cards? would that be the best option for both partie? Personally id love to see him stay, because i think he has been and always will be red and blue through and through.
  5. Good to get some insight from the big man. I find it amusing, for all the right reasons. Id suggest writing an article on football is not as easy as it sounds.
  6. Chip dosent get beat twice in one year
  7. Watts more (pardon the pun) a couple of goal assists
  8. not to mention the game we were robbed of agianst the Bulldogs. Its the losses to Westcoast and the Kangaroos that really hurt us as well
  9. To beat the Hawks at the G will be hard, But i rekon to beat port at AAMI will be harder. We havent won there in a while, and the out of form crows thrashed us there earlier this year. The players and staffhave to take it a week at a time, a quatre at a time, a goal at a time, but we (MFC supporters) get to analyse all possibilities. All i know is MFC is getting very exciting
  10. another great game for the big #2

  11. may i just add, hes noly 24. still a good 8 years to come
  12. i think the rising star is great to reward young players and ell them they are being noticed, BUT! id much racther jordi, jack, jack, tom, gysberts just keep developing everygame. regardless if they win rising star or not
  13. He did u very proud. only conceded one goal to albert
  14. wether we finish 10th, 9th, or 8th, i think expectations next year will still be to make finals
  15. In my opinion, no point holding back. As joel said post-match, win as many as we can and if we make the finals great
  16. Ablett because he is (slightly) more consistent, but i think Judd is more capable of smashing 10 possesions in 10 minutes or less, and turning hes team around. Perhaps its because of the teams he plays in, but i rate Judd Better in that area
  17. Would Have loved to see Warnock back in the side this week. i get the feeling Bails didnt want to cahnge too much of a good thing that was last weeks performance. I think that most people agree we put in out best show in Bailey's carrer, so its natural hel want to keep a similar lineup. Whilst he could still be a late inclusion, i dont think hell play. Personally i would do what Bails has done, speed and intensity off the backline can really hurt brisbane at the moment especially. Rivers is also great at multiple roles, where Warnock is more limited, it would probs be a one on one with browny. WHAT I LOVE seeing is Joel lineing up against hes old side at brisbane. He had a great game round 5, and had a chat with him recently and he said hes got an ingrained desire to smash the Lions atm cos vossy got rid of him BRING EM ON
  18. Maybe a bit controversial number 6 but : 6. Bartsy 5. Green 4. Frawly 3. Col (sylv) 2. Jamar 1. Jordi I thought Clint'swork rate all game was the best on ground. probably hes best game ever. As has been mentioned the whole team played well. Green kicked 5, but we needed him too and it was hes role. Barts, i felt, went above and beyond hes role. Keep it coming
  19. Realisticly, its out of Collingwood and Geelong, but Hawks are a great chance. I think Freo, Bulldogs and Saints are out of it!
