Plus Tom McDonald enters the ? six with a bullet!

Sat Night Channel 7 Team
Add Tim Lane and David Parkin to that list. Special mention to Tommy Lahiff "Are you there Harry?" Contemporary commentators worth listening to include Daisy Pearce, Jordan Lewis and Jonathon Brown. Gerard Healy and Garry Lyon are generally acceptable if not overexposed.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Without defensive pressure would've been looking down the barrel. Fortunately swannies couldn't find the trigger. Restoring at least parity to centre bounce clearances needs to be a priority. Otherwise it is not sustainable and the back six dam wall will crack.

Tom "Terrific" Ripper Ripper Game. Cometh the moment. Cometh the man. Kicked some 'clutch' goals tonight to deny the swannies, back to his best footy. Where are all the self-appointed drop Tom brigade now?

Now that “epic” was reminiscent of the very first party at Sydney Cove. Some would say the true birthplace of Aussie culture.

My Round 8 Preview and Prediction
CHF pleasing news on the furnishings front but totally perplexed ? on the identity of the mysterious ‘Mr Wells’. The answer must exist somewhere in the ether between George Clooney and the Invisible Man?

Christian Petracca is A Demon For Life
Dusty can strut about in his "Y" fronts whilst Tracc can now zoom away in a spanking new "F" type.

My Round 8 Preview and Prediction
CHF: Can we upgrade to swan feather down filled cushions on the ? water express? So much classier and more comfortable.(Best kept in-house though, as ostentatious displays of luxury don’t go down too well with the broader football public) Final question; Is your companion none other than Mr HG Wells?
- Bayley Fritsch cleared of striking

Does McDonald go back?
Brown & Brown key forwards; the speculative man's choice. These guys could also be handy at next week's AFL tribunal.

RN that is beginning to sound suspiciously like ‘grey nomad’ territory and heading ‘out to pasture’.

Does McDonald go back?
Tommy Mac showed his versatility today after an indifferent first half. Thought his mobility and game involvement were telling. Field kicking has improved and was creative with his handball. A most unGoody like but timely in match call. Restored confidence and stability to the back 6 post half-time. Puts Sam Weidemann very much in the reckoning for a Swans game call up. In the great traditional of Aussie Rules the “Utility” is back.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
After such an ordinary start and sub-par first half deliberately steered clear of the DL game day thread. As part of our post-game cool off curiosity won regrettably. Going backwards into the thread was not unlike being aboard with Captain Willard going up river seeking Colonel Kurtz.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
The old chestnut ‘One week at a time’ is most appropriate here. Considering the whole season is a marathon. Sticking with WJ’s insightful opening salvo. Tactically speaking the late arrival of superior reinforcements, has been decisive in many hard fought campaigns . ? ? ? anyone?
