  2. Pleased to see so many Demonlanders up and about. May you all enjoy a great evening at the 'G' Grab the momentum Go for glory Demons!!
  3. Is JVR a wildcard chance for Sub?
  4. RPFC a well reasoned and rationale post. The game he played this year when our regular ruck options were out was one of his better outings for the season. Demon victory from memory? So not the liability some claim. Although it’s a fine line with Sam. After an excellent start against the dogs he did fade out, but he was not home alone. The more guys that buy in to the team ethos the greater the chance of success. May be this preseason he needs to prioritise some resilience training and ‘toughen up’. Boot camp as an extra in a sword and sandal epic rowing a Roman galley would suffice.
  5. Maybe the satellite feed is superior here beyond the horizon. But much to be ebullient about with some commendable performances on display by many of the younger brigade today. Deakyn Smith; not afraid to get amongst it plus has some top defensive skills. Daniel Turner; a courageous player, who backs his judgement and is able to deliver the ball to his team's advantage. Toby Bedford; poised to go beyond a few in the senior side (hope he stays). Pressure and tackling were first rate. Jacob Van Rooyen; has had the opportunity to develop his game at Casey. Will make a definite impact at AFL level. Blake Howes, Taj Woewodin and Fraser Rosman also caught the eye and will have further opportunities to shine in this VFL final series.
  6. Given, but has shown some commendable ‘smarts’ around the packs on today’s showing. Had some kicks on goal which didn’t, come off too.
  7. Probably won’t please those with the ‘Weidicide’ agenda but Campbell Brown on 7 suggested with ‘Jacko’ apparently about to deecamp. A vacancy ‘may’ exist for a backup ruckman/forward. Given Weed has battled manfully against two AFL hardened opposition ruck men and performed competatively. Maybe there is a crack of light at the end of the tunnel. .
  8. Chris from Camberwell comes across as some sort of 'Milton the Monster' type mutant hybrid with a humouresque demonic twist. Concocted deep down in the Demonland laboratories. Contributors from the Demonland 'illuminati' who could be called to lend their 'bits' to this ungodly patch up. Include: Special Robert because he is out there; Demonstone who 'talks' in riddles; daisycutter is a tram ride away; Redleg is well connected; Uncle Bitters has the necessary thick hide; picket fence for just a drop..., oops!!! ..., of his fervent deemania and Whispering Jack because he keeps banging on about... Chris from Camberwell.
  9. Strictly Shateaux Cardboard given recent behaviour. Blues prefer brown paper bags of course.
  10. Some most worthy candidates for All Australian honours from our terrific 2022 team. Wishing Angus Brayshaw and Bayley Fritsch magna [censored] laude for this year's gongs.
  11. Yipes!!! Needs to work on the yips first. If Choco can do his magic Yippee!
  12. From a Jack Joker to a King With no regret I’ve stacked the cards last night round And luck played a part when you kicked just right To make Max King of demonlanders’ hearts
  13. Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li ad-ditty Singing too-ral-li-oo-ra-li-ay Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li ad-ditty Oh we’re bound for Botany Bay
  14. The moneyball disco hasn’t worked. Post the retirement rush, Rats has now had to embrace the grassroots agrarian revolution given the paucity of home grown talent on their list.
  15. Flaw in colour recognition programming red and blue go, red and whiteout?
  16. That week of therapy may have helped.
  17. Ophthalmologist ousted in end of season sacking?
  18. 6 Clayton Oliver 5 Jake Lever 4 Christian Petracca 3 Kysaiah Pickett 2 Angus Brayshaw 1 Luke Jackson Honourable mentions; Max Gawn Ed Langdon Ben Brown Bayley Fritsch James Harmes Michael Hibberd Jayden Hunt Jake Bowey Luke Jackson Steven May Akex Neal-Bullen Harrison Petty Trent Rivers Tom Sparrow Jack Viney Adjudication; Home team somewhat favoured by interpretation leniency and on balance numerically. Broadcast; Some myopic confusion mainly on 7 about who were the antagonists? Opposition hyperbole watch; Zorko’s pantomime performance as the dastardly villain was overplayed, insensitive and absurd. Overall comment; Terrific team performance, opposition are roadkill rapidly disappearing in the rear vision mirror. Bring on September!!
  19. Recall that incident clearly on the grandstand wing at Marrara. Lined up a crow opponent but came off seriously second best. Flip side a younger DK kicked a terrific running goal from HFF, highlight of a very one sided game v Freo same venue.
  20. Cheers DM56! Appreciate the clarification. Concrete now ‘curing’.
