  1. Green, Davey, Jurrah, Frawley, Morton, Trengove, Grimes and McKenzie are to come back in ... Is Col Garland there? That's a fair bit of talent missing but there is enough to be concerned with I would've thought.
  2. 14 shots to 22 Dean Bailey and the inside 50 for/against count is taking another hammering.
  3. Yep, goal to Lions. And another one to follow. Lions 81 - Dees 59.
  4. The russian brings it back to 10 again. Lions goal coming then?
  5. Goal to Rick Petterd, then a goal to Lions after kicking across goal. Down by 16 again - 69 - 53
  6. Luke Power goal. 62 - 47 to Lions
  7. Scully to Watts, Watts from 50 - goal!
  8. Not there either Dee. But it's a concerning stat.
  9. 29 marks to 73?
  10. Tapscott is a great positive and his kicking sublime. Could be the theme of the day, taking away some individual highlights. Tapscott and Petterd so far.
  11. Ricky Petterd is playing some fine footy. Plucks them well. 22 games from Rick would be great in 2011
  12. Watts goals from boundary line!
  13. Garland also not there. Not great so far 49-32 now. Cmon Dees
  14. Essendon are far and away my most hated. Carlton & St Kilda very close. Collingwood I don't have that same hate, although I love to beat them I enjoy the big games against them and have plenty of good memories from these games. I've never found the majority of Pies fans to have that same smugness that an Essendon supporter possess. That type of smugness that you just want to punch square in the mouth B)
  15. Good questions UTAH. I'll say Gysberts!
  16. If it is a blessing better the broken leg now than at an age where it is very difficult to recover completely. See Nathan Brown amongst others. Sam is still very young & patience is surely key. He IS an exciting prospect still & plenty to look forward to from him.
  17. Is Crackers still in the media? Andy Maher is harmless and an easy target, not a fact fudger like many of them though.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if Gysberts management were being spoken to by GWS. Potential is obvious from 3 games and could go for a cheaper rate than Scully might pull due to injury concerns? Believe that Velocity also manage Gys?? Who knows - probably plenty of talk going on with mgrs due to the GWS horizon.
  19. Thanks but I'm ok. Appreciate the two new threads you have just started so we can all leave this alone
  20. One thing - it was good to hear from Tom. For me it just confirms what a level headed, fantastic kid we have at the club. The door is ajar, of course, but from here I will take Tom at his word that no approaches have been made and that he simply wants to play footy. The most paranoid part in all this for me was the fact that MFC may not have had a chance to even get in the door and negotiate. That the stupid window the AFL allowed would see him lost to us. That seems not to be the case, that we will be involved heavily in negotiations. So, it's over to Cam and the boys to convince him where the best place to be is. Right here.
  21. No they do not, but you can simply choose to disagree. You can even choose to ignore it if you like! You replied to the point in your first line. That was enough. I'm no richer for your clever line at the end. Just because people are over emotive about this doesn't mean they need to get shot down continually by the 'calm' brigade. We aint all the same beasts people.
  22. Give it a wide berth then. If you look up the definition of forum you will see that in part it is to discuss of questions of public interest. You've made your point on that. Let others do the same even if you may be tired of it. It is much easier to bypass the comments your bored with than it is to actually take the time to stop and respond. I'm sick of others thinking they have a right to tell other supporters to rein in their emotions. Casual supporters apparently as one previous poster put it. I'm not here to prove my worth on a IQ front. I'm here to discuss issues about a great passion of mine.
  23. Fair enough then, seemed to me you were putting it on the media as to why Cale was tripped up. The Trengove interviews really grate with me which I've said enough now. For a young kid that could arguably be better.
  24. Agree totally The media can't be blamed here can they? The media training focus of the MFC perhaps. Through no fault of MFC's I will add.
