Seriously why would anyone want to join a club that crumbles whenever pressure is applied?

Our club administration shows just as much determination and persistence as do our on field players - so, no there will be no questions asked. Just roll over and take it - accept mediocrity on the field, and also from the AFL and their maggots.

^^ Thanks again to all contributors. Is Dion Johnstone now looking like a keeper as an apprentice to Nev. Many of us had completely written him off before he was sent into defence. I only was able to see little bits of the game (in poor quality) and I saw him lay one ferocious tackle. Frost looked ferocious too, though the little I saw was at times a bit of a frenetic headless chook. Prognostications?

Well bee, IF and a big IF our guys put their minds to it and don't get ahead of themselves, we have a huge percentage opportunity over the next few weeks.

I have moved on from that sad weekend - Adelaide did not cost us finals, our guys did by drowning in their own bathwater the day before. Came out thumping their chests thinking of the Collingwood game as merely warm unto finals ... YUK! Who here would even remember the WCE Adelaide game had our team done what it should have, and could and would have had they had the right attitude, which is focussed and ruthless?

An interesting reflection on the different ways different people see things: this is not meant as criticism, rather as a comment on the joyous diversity of the human condition (assuming both are members of this species of course ... not that you necessarily need to be to enjoy footy, and Demonland is an equal opportunity all embracing family). As a matter of interest, were you at the game or did you watch it on TV?

One could also ask how did CFC get so close to Port or how did Port allow CFC to get so close? After all we beat them by 109!

First game back after a longish layoff into a game played in wet and wind. Certainly didn’t push his case for the selectors but wouldn’t mark his papers quite yet. Loopy delivery into F 50 seems to be the MFC KPI ?

I beg to differ - jokes are (supposed to be) funny. Agree. Too many here seem to equate Darwin to Alice but they are poles apart They have given Geelong a massive boost, but of course that is a very marginal area electorally I believe.

beelzebub - surely it is up to him. He has to really want to, and show that he wNts to (and not just like to) play at top level. No way Goodwin will select him unless he shows some intensity.
