NON MFC: Rd 20 2021
Just FFS keep winning and we will be top 2. So sick of depending on other results - have put up with this for nigh on 60 years.

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Western Bulldogs
So, Superman, we should never try something out of the norm? Jimmy Stynes, Sean Wight?????

I guess he didnāt have a crystal ball. And any chance we will analyze Carlscumās goal kicking tonight, and have some ālearningsā?

Surely 'grandfathering' any already in the system at the time of change would be fair .... but then it isn't so it won't.

Agree - what is the point of putting any time, effort or money into these - and of course the NSW and Q clubs still get their special considerations. YUK!

Do you actually believe that? Fauci is now, having said that widespread vaccination would mean no masks, saying that masks indoors and out may "be needed" indefinitely, for all even primary school kids. This pandemic has seen a litany of mixed massages.

^^ picket and poita - agree 100% Especially with the ongoing threat of lockdowns that undoubtedly will go forward into 2022 and beyond, just set up an AFL Reserves competition with all Victorian teams involved. The interstate clubs can set up their own local competition. As it stands it is a total dogs' dinner, benefiting nobody.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
I think you may have misunderstood my post - not saying at all that petty > tomlinson. Just saying that Petty has done a sterling job replacing him, but also has a potential good KPP forward rƓle up his sleeve.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Surely it is essentially only one generation, the current one, who has had to grow up under the influence of antisocial media. He Jackson, other than looking knackered at the present, has performed admirably as a back up ruckman this year. However he has yet to show much aptitude as a KPP forward - it may be a matter of time, or maybe it will never come. That said he worked well with Weed when they played together (limited time and weird year) in 2020. Yes he has been surprisingly good in the backline this year, but if and when Tomlinson returns and hits form, what would we do with Petty? Play his as a Casey defender, or let him to continue development up forward?

How do Bulldogs do it?
Geelong throw in close clinches as much as do Footscray.

Loads and Fatigue
Has Burgess paced the training well? Who knows. I guess only time will tell. Early in the season we appeared to be doing far better in second halves and final quarters in particular. Not so now. And as regards some of our youth who started the season so well appearing well of the boil, I suspect the lack of VFL to asses replacements may have thrown a bit of a spanner in the works re planning of rotations and āresting / managingā these players, though the mid season bye didnāt seem to do much by way of refreshment. Again, time will tell, and we on these fora wonāt have any say or influence.

Not quite sure where to post this - Buddy a pretty hard elbow to the (usually) sacrosanct head =1 week. How many would, say, May or McDonald get for that? 2-3 would be my guess. But there is no corruption or even just bias in the MRO rulings, I am sure.

THE YEAR THE SNOWFLAKES FELL by Whispering Jack
They both played, as you will recall, in the 64 GF - Ken I think was 19th or 20th so I donāt remember if he got a run. A very sound pair of rovers.

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
picket - just asking, have you actually seen Bowey in a match? I havenāt, and wonder how you are so confident about him. Salem is just so important - IMVHO his absence v Adelaide threw the defence totally out of sync and he hasnāt really been the same with any consistency since. If ārestingā him this week could help him back to his best then sure maybe blood Bowey. Salem is one of our most important players for his disposal and calmness but also his organisation and leadership of the defence.

THE YEAR THE SNOWFLAKES FELL by Whispering Jack
I remember the day so weāll - year 12 at school having seen MFC in finals every year since kindergarten. Just assumed it would always happen. Reading the āpink paperā, The Sporting Globe, which we used to go in to Flinders Street to collect with disbelief it dawned upon me that it was just possible we could miss finals that year, but of course all would be well after that ? Listened to the game from home having felt ill all week since Dr Duffy and his committeeās dreadful act of treachery.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
FFS picket - set shot goal kicking doesnāt depend on āfinding his feet and place in the teamā - it was absolutely inexcusable given that his impeccable kicking was one of his great selling points. Not calling for him to be dropped, but he should have a good hard look at himself. May well have cost us the game and top spot.

Just saw on the news Franklin elbowing an opponent with a wild backward swing - āmay get a week if unluckyā. Imagine if one of ours did that - ā4-6 weeksā! Corruption reigns??

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
Just asking - is Mitch Brown fit? Has always filled in very admirably - could he give Jackson a rest? Jackson, Rivers and JJ all have really great futures, but all are looking rather knackered at present.

My 3 word player analysis V The Umpires
Agree - had our chances, can';t kick straight. BBB first two "attempts" were actually pathetic.
