POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
Just dawned on me after seeing this post - did the steeplechaser (Biclavs) play last night? Don’t remember seeing him.

The trade Jack Viney thread
🙄😮 I agree that I thought he could be bypassed by Sparrow in particular (and probably will in due course) but as others have said he is a finals (or other big game) player, and had a ripper particularly early on when the scene was being set last night. An integral cog ⚙️ in the midfield.

What they are saying at Moorabool Street
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere Seriously, where do they go now? Rebuild from the draft (finishing 3rd or 4th)? Surely no more “topping up”. How long will Selwood be able to go on with his cheating ducking and throwing? Dangerfield? Hawkins? Cameron? Rowan?

Max Gawn
🤗 🙄 even when he gets 5 goals in a final? Seriously that game last night was the most inspirational captains game I can remember. Absolutely inspirational and a joy to watch. And Luke Jackson being able to release him forward (and back) hopefully will add 3 or 4 years to his career. Sign LJ up for life today. What a combination.

Ocean Grove I believe, which is down near Dunderfield I think.

POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
And does he have the longest skinny arms in the whole AFL. Isaac Smug - really took a dislike to his smugness in that 2018 final v Hawthorn. So glad we didn’t get him, though he would struggle to fit in to our structure

VOTES: PF vs Geelong
This was honestly the most difficult rating I have ever - other than the blindingly obvious Max, and JV and Tracc, everyone else was worth a vote. The best overall team effort I can recall.

Minus 🥢

CHANGES: GF vs Bulldogs
Max might even do that - he is such a great leader. But if May isn’t right then Hunt would be the likely very lucky guy.

POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
He is doing it now on Fox / Kayo - having difficulty in holding it together. Difficult to look at the camera. Looks absolutely shattered

POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
Incredible how much difference good player development makes - Bowey exemplifies this. Kozzie, Jackson, Rivers, Petty, Jordon, Sparrow.

POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
Which captain showed better leadership tonight?? 😄 Stil not 100% sure - IF Dogs win then they will be the beneficiaries.

POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
As Mark Neeld said, "didn't see that coming" (though I thought we would win by maybe 4-5 goals Great to see the players who missed out gathering around the team. Nathan Jones looked so proud; Thommo looked happy but sad.

29 up ... need more from the start of the Q3 -- but nervous if we were to get 44 up

The Rebuild of Melbourne's List - Mongrel Punt Article
But who know whose flags they would be anyway. One thing for sure, they would not be Melbourne Demons flags, which is just what we are aiming for right now. I would get far more joy from that, in my early dotage, than a Melbourne Hawks or Melthorn or Hawbourne red, blue, brown and gold one or even 4.

TEAMS: PF vs Geelong
So I would think he isn’t

No mention of Cameron’s hamstring? Or Hawkins’ bruised elbow?

Or they could contract the Carlton doctor of 2018 to write a certificate.

TEAMS: PF vs Geelong
I would be even happier were we not to need the midi sub. I guess Hunt not being even on the extended bench is an honest appraisal that he is not fit to play his rôle.. Well your friend ain’t as much in the know as you think. Biclavs was one of those dudes who ran long distances but also jumped ditches and hurdles but never actually caught the steeple. May his quest once again tomorrow be denied.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURS
Not saying that Sparrow is on par with Oliver or Petracca, but he looks as if he is well on trajectory to become a B+ or A grader in the next year or two.

Joel Smith Hamstring
We can let Cameron do that - in the first minute of the match. Hunt would be my choice not Hibberd
