NON-MFC: Round 23
Michael Christian, not the sharpest tool in the shed, will see the jumper and call it a football act.

My 3 word player analysis V Gold Coast
I would say Tholstrup - learning pretty fast For once it didn't cost us a game though. I am sure there are stats somewhere that show how many calls have gone for and against certain teams. Cost us the final v Carlton and other games I cannot specify.

NON-MFC: Round 23
I could see any of the top 8 winning it actually, Steven Bradbury style. Which makes our injury destroyed season all the more sad.

NON-MFC: Round 23
Have they actually beaten any team that was in the top 8 any time this season???

NON-MFC: Round 23
Just turned it on - about 4 minutes to go in Q3 how good was it to see the absolutely manic movement in the Sydney deep forward line as one of their players had a mark on about 50. No gathering in a Demonic style pack, and no congestion. Any chance at all that any of our players and or coaches had a look and saw that it is a far better option than ou "kick it long to pack"?

Where's Kentfield at?
Well stated, as usual,WCW McAdam could be better next year!! He would want to be. Names please. Maybe Kent could become a forward / ruck, though a very different build and style than Jackson ??? He looks like he has a very strong build. As it was a Taylor move and not a Lamb I too will have confidence. Which ruckman are you referring to dazzle ?? Unfortunately, and disgracefully by the VFL as an organisation, given yet another bloody bye, he only has one more game to prove himself.

Captaincy
After all the BS spreading around tonight, maybe it is time for CP5? But I must say I am OK with Max for another year. ANB is an interesting option - he certainly is a guy who learns and gets the most out of himself every game. Not sure if he would be able to inspire like Max does though. But then, who could? If Max does go for another year Rivers could become a realistic option too - not quite there yet but ....

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
I was just being super optimistic as there is so much pessimism promulgated on this site. But then, who knows? Agree 100% about desperately trying to find a solution that allows JVR to concentrate on becoming an elite KPF, even though that may require the odd deep forward ruck contest.

The Ruck Conundrum
At least promising, at this stage. But then remember how long it took Max to become a regular.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
He could well be part of our 2025 flag.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
BBB plays far deeper than Petty most of the time. But yes, more goals would be great but he is playing the rĂ´le asked of him.

Welcome to Demonland: Max Gawn
i didnât seem able to find the original clip of Max pre draft. Does anyone have a link?

Christian Petraccaâs 2024 Season Ending Injuries
We traded for BBB 2020 which worked well the following year. Who have we bypassed since, who is affordable and wanting to come our way? They donât grow on trees. â Yes, of course a bag of goals, and straight shooting would be great, but he has been plying as a high CHF most of the time.

PODCAST: Rd 22 vs Port Adelaide
Thanks for my favorite weekly podcast. Disappointed of course, but far from devastated, and more optimistic about the future than many of my mates. Scoring from inside 50s seems a perennial problem. Is it too simplistic to ask those deep inside 50 to all spread out in different directions to both draw the defenders and to create one on one opportunities? As it is âkick it longâ to a pack of 6 + players isnât and hasnât been working. Is this poor coaching or poor execution, or both? By mids or by forwards? Tony Lockett or Jason Dunstall would struggle in our forward line, and they didnât have the luxury of 6-6-6. This is the biggest frustration for most of our fans, and probably our players.
