Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
OK but I believe that although BBB and TM are playing VFL, and may have underlying 'fitness' their underlying chronic injuries are the reason they are not performing up to scratch.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
That would be just fantastic, but hardly realistic for a first year player.

Las Vegas beats Shanghai...Was Sheedy too early
Gil, and Vlad before him love anything American (like flashing lights and blaring music and incessant loud announcements) if they can add anything more American no doubt they will. And what could be more American glitz and faux than Las Vegas? Sportsbet would no doubt fly him there first class and look after him well.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
He (Brown) does need to be able to jump and to run though. The Shack could be a better option right now.

TRAINING: Wednesday 26th April, 2023
One would expect maybe 2 x ยฝ to ยพ games at Casey plus 2 full games before Salo gets a senior game. That would give him still enough time to be ready for September action.

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
First priority is a crumber in front / alongside the big boys flying. Too often on Monday everyone was up and nobody there to crumb. Same vs EssUndone.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
It would be great if we had some other fit and in form forward talls, but we donโt at present so have to make do. Stopping the bounce may encourage more to take up umpiring. Or putting it the other way, having the requirement to bounce may discourage some from even trying. Instead concentrate on running, human interaction, understanding of the rules and of course ophthalmology assessments.

Maybe they can sneak Dank back in to give Sam some angry pills.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Wow. He is massive. Big question always though how good a footballer is he? Well it hasnโt been paid in years if ever - so they will wait until a critical moment again and take the opportunity to show the world just how influential they are. Arenโt we playing at Docklands next - through the roof would be most impressive. Jokes aside he is developing beautifully. Maybe โฆ but as many of us have said it has NEVER been paid before and I am sure it wonโt today.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Frittata's just before half time was a contender - then the bloody maggot reversed it. I didn't see why. But JVR stood up when needed ... well done. 3 goals and an assist from a handful of disposals - he makes the most of it. That interpretation has NEVER been adjudicated before. Every game we see times when. there are 2 on the mark and several alongside - and it has NEVER been paid before. That was a filthy deliberate knee to the guy on the ground. Was it Cotchin? Certainly his style, (and of course Sam Mitchell classic.) Yes, some work needed but wow! Stood up when needed. A very competitive beast in a marking contest.

AFL Pushing for Players to be Traded Against Their Will
Good luck trying to integrate a "conscripted" player into a playing group - Jim Tilbrook says "hi", and he wasn't conscripted.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
dazzle - just wondering are you implying some conspiracy theory, or favouritism on the part of the match committee? It appears that they see something in Tom Sparrow that you do not. Only a few weeks back some here were complimenting Jefferson's intensity in contested marking. It is his first season and we will expect some inconsistency. I for one won't write him off just yet.

AFL Rules - pulling the ball under
This should be very simple actually. Surely a correct tackle ie not high, not in the back, should be required for any HTB free. Otherwise a clear free to the guy tackled. Protect the guy making the play before the lurking vultures.

How about 4.33 cubits?

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Depends on who and when - Georgiadis from Port has been talked up a bit (though there were also some rumours today that he could have a serious knee injury). easier said than done - he would, if he put his name up, go into the draft and we have no special claims on our VFL team. "...Sparrow has done nothing since 2021 and gets a free ride...." I think that I a bit over the top. He is a hard worker, strong tackler, and is the future, unlike Dunstan who is definitely a back up.
