Now 61 to 71 at 15 mins into 4th qtr. after a couple of quick goals to Coburg. Rain has slowed down ball movement a lot.

Highlight was a Geordie snap for a successful goal about 15-20m out. You reckon he wasn't happy to shake a monkey off his back!

JKH, Harmes and Blease combine for a goal to Sammy. But quick reply by Coburg. 55 to 58.

Guys who have had less than a fair share IMO are Evans, Blease, Clisby. Toumpas, Strauss have had enough of the ball to satisfy the stats guys so far. EDIT: Though looking at the stats post, maybe not. They just seem to have done well with it when they have it. And I liked my own post by mistake! Fat fingers on a small phone in the cold.

JKH doing well. Georgiou had a good 2nd qtr. Harmes took a speccy but unfortunately hit the post with the set shot from a long way out. He has delivered the ball beautifully, knows when it's his turn to go, makes good choices to mark, spoil or kick. He's not a big guy at all but has plenty of poise.

Playing very attractive free flowing footy. Haven't seen that from our boys for a long time. Young Scorps players also stepping up. Fischer doing well as a ruck and talk forward. Don't have any stats but Riley has been a powerhouse through the middle and under the packs.

Geez. We're playing much better against the wind!

Looking forward to seeing Harmes get a spot in the seniors next year!

Georgiou 3 good strong marks in defence but under the pump. Nice long kick from Blease into the goal square from the flank results in a mark and goal.

Trenners plus GF and Dunn plus young son in Dees jumper also here watching. Dunn said the redeye trip home was crap.

JKH back on the field in 2nd qtr. running full tilt.

JKH now running the boundary line for a test. Looks proppy but much better than it might have been.

JKH went down with an ankle. Didn't look like he twisted it but had to be helped from the ground. Maybe a clip from opponents boot to the front of the ankle.

Toump, JKH, Riley, Barry all in the midfield / centreline. Surely we can win the clearances???!!

Casey won the toss (yay!) - kicking with the slight-moderate breeze.

Geordie also flew back last night on the red eye, keen to play at Casey.

Welsh also confirmed Hogan is out after pulling up a little sore last week. Didn't want to risk further injury before pre season. Sounds like no chance of playing against North next week.

Casey coach Rowan Welsh on Casey radio has just potted the AFL players for not putting in, saying many will not have contracts renewed after today's last VFL game. Commentators went on to name Strauss, Nicho, Mckenzie, Blease, Tappy and Evans as probably in the firing line. No surprises there I guess.
