Felt I had to congratulate you on the post. Would have taken a lot of effort and wanted to let you know I appreciate it, a great read. I also found myself agreeing with everything you wrote. A really level headed post which is the opposite of a lot of stuff which is put in here (really good to see). Agreed mostly on the Bartram and Miller points. I've never been a fan of Barts but all year I've been shocked with the contribution he has given us, what you said pretty much sums up my point. And yeah, Miller deserves a last crack and with the form he's showing it has to be this week. If not now, when? He is one of the worrying players who has shown something in the past and would just love to see him come through. Great post mate, keep it up.

The "Sack Bailey" calls are a joke. Yes, he was outcoached today but he has outcoached many others this year as well. He can't do much about the fact the majority of our team wasn't trying... And I for one am not that frustrated about the over handballing. Yes it looked very bad but there is a major reason for it. The bottom line of everything today is we didn't turn up. We had no intensity. We didn't tackle, we didn't chase, we didn't work to cut off their free men and most of all we didn't work to make an option. That is why we over handballed. The amount of times you looked up the ground and saw everyone just standing around looking bored was unbelievable for an AFL match. The performance today was unnaceptable and Deano better let them know that. In the long run performances like that will kill us and all we can hope is they learnt a lesson today that every week, no matter what, you put in 100%. Heard Scully talk about that on the radio. We're young and we need to learn to cut that out NOW!

Was really disappointed in Jared today. I have also have been a huge fan of him and actually thought he had a good year last year. His few games this year though, haven't been good enough. There was one 5 minute patch when he took 3 defensive marks running back into a pack in which I thought he was back. Besides that though, he was really poor. The amount of times Kennedy was a mile in front of him on a lead was laughable. He just kept getting away from him as Jared was destroyed by his man today. I think you're right. The bottom line is, he's a quality loose defender but cannot account for a man. Think he needs a run at Casey, he's currently doing us more harm than good.

No way! Stay with demons. I have a little cousin who barracks for us purely because we have the "coolest" mascot.

Hi all, long time reader of this site but never got round to making an account. Couldn't resist but making a post about Jack! I went to school with him and played footy with him for 2 years before he moved to South Australia. I tell you, It wasn't alot of fun being in his side as he was the only bloke who got the ball. Kicked it out of the middle, ran forward and kicked the goal! Although he's not that big the opposition were scared of him. Even some opposition parents wanted him to be banned, but I never saw him throw a punch. He was that hard. The most physical player I have seen at that age! I can also confirm that he will be finishing school in 2012 and wants to go to the dees. Have asked him and said he'll be going to us under father-son. He is ridiculously strong and was the school cross country champion. He is an absolute freak!
