  1. Nonetheless a bottom team who were desperate and had their tail wagging.
  2. Jackson's style probably compares close to NicNat in his agility and attack on the footy. Gus should feel good about his game, if he can build from his solid 2nd half and regain form it might just be the difference that sees us play finals. I like Sparrows compete. The Weed/Jacko fwd combo with no TMAC remains undefeated. Heart wasn't confident, but head said we would run away with it in the 4th quarter, GO DEES!
  3. Well Oliver is looking really good out there.
  4. His first lead were he stuck out his foot instead of diving for it sold it for me. The only logical decision is to send him back into defence, remember when he was Rance like? I do.
  5. To be fair I think OMAC is providing a lot more than TMAC. Scary thought.
  6. QLD as the home of AFL? Surely not after limiting crowd capacity to a meager 500.
  7. Have been refreshing ticketmaster, so thanks for this information. ?
  8. Port have a short backline, Lions talls (McStay / Hipwood) had a night out against them a few weeks back, bring back TMAC.
  9. That stings, at least the loss shows we can compete with the current top team in the comp. Bring on Thursday night, I plan to be dancing down Vulture St.
  10. Absolutely, you gotta beat the team and the game sometimes.
  11. I think we need to rest our younger ducks and get the older ducks in for Thursday nights game.
  12. Moments that stick out Melksham possibly taking a two grabber 30m out, if it hit the deck what the [censored] was he suppose to do. Instantly tackled , umpire calls HTB. McCluggage tackled and clearly drops the ball in fwd 50 during end of 1st quarter, no call. Bennell open goal goes the other way and Cameron shows him how to do it at top pace from further out, big ooof. The numerous Brisbane defensive short kicks that were deemed legal distance, in the first half. Oscar Mc who fell victim to HTB against the grain (looked like he got a knuckle on it).. side note O mac going alright . That diabolical goal umpire call that stopped Jones who was clear on the wing. Handbrake on all momentum. Fritsch end of game. need to see it again but that was a very generous 50m. Errrrrrrreggghjjjjjjjjhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  13. Going to be a slippery one, hopefully not too heavy on the track as we've got a quick turnaround this week.
  14. TMac will be there to compete with (and negate) Andrews. Would be great to double-down and keep Jackson in the lineup, he's unique, versatile and allows a more dynamic team structure.
  15. 6- Petracca 5- Gawn 4- Oliver 3- Viney 2- Langdon 1- Weed
  16. Boys should try get setup around either Yeronga Devils or Mt Gravatt. Both are decent sized grounds, close to the Gabba. Also on the southside so shorter trip to Metricon (~one hour).
  17. Feel ya Gorgoroth mine as well! Can't be mad though was a great pass.
  18. 6- Petracca 5- Viney 4- Gawn 3- Lever 2- Oliver 1- Weideman stiff; OMac, May lost his head in the last 10mins - lol
  19. Weid was huge in providing a contest, that kick has been a straight turnover the past few weeks, he relished his opportunity and must be a lock. Kicked truly. After a horrible return a couple of weeks ago, that was peak Vanders, needs to keep backing that up to prove why he's in the 22. Viney was channeling his inner Dee Dee Ramone and was all revved up and ready to go. Trac with probably another BOG performance. Hands sublime, kicking a bit rough but put it through when it counted. The four inclusions all played their role, Demonland knows!
  20. Better with Weidemen, Jetta and Bennell out there. Eye hope TMAC is OK.
  21. Wow is Goody actually listening to Demonland ?
  22. Lewis made a good comment on Lever, shifting the blame for his non-efforts which were due to lack of communication from Smith. Watching back on the footage shown on 360 he raises a fair point.
  23. I went to the Gabba last night and saw the Lions play, what struck me the most is the unity and bond between all the players and that THEY ALL HAVE CLEARLY DEFINED ROLES. Honestly believe we are an equally skilled team but seem to have lost the passion, cohesion and too many players doubting themselves.. that's on Goodwin.
  24. 6- Trac 5- Hibberd 4- Gawn 3- May 2- Hannan 1- Fritsch shy of missing Pickett who had a game high six tackles.
  25. The clear headshot on Fritta right on the siren and seems as if NO ONE went after the Richmond player who did it. smh.
