Mcgovern can play....
On looks he should be playing for Wangaratta, and i'd put $20 that he has the highest skinfolds in the league, but boy o boy what a gun. He is everything Rance is hyped to be.

I love the idea of her on the pod cast, to both hear her POV because frankly i think she's mean and nasty, and a long form iv might be a chance for her to explain herself and not be so defensive. And secondly I think our interviewers would know exactly what questions to ask and grill her properly. If not i would certainly volunteer some questions.

Lots to like, and agree with the OP. Geelong final 1st half, Many peaks this year.

Nevertheless, looking longer term, it is important to get him right.
But as I understand the Latarjet is a lesser procedure than a full shoulder record ... is that correct?
I guess in fairness trapeze artists shoulder stability is quite literally a matter of life and death.
Yes it was, and for all of those with minds on off topic subjects, yes it was every bit as exciting as one might hope for.

Is it just me or am I the only one fantasizing about Hogan being turned into multiple picks and players.
I still think Hogan is a key to our team one day, the next I think he will be Melbourne's Travis Cloke. I had actually seen him as becoming more of a Kouta and that his value as a CHF/Wing (more Jonah Lomu than Robbie (-; ) was in his low flat passes (love his field kicking) and contested marking.
Anyway Jason Taylor and CO have more than proved they have a clue and know what they are doing, I'll back the club, even if it does suck coming a few days after a painful loss..
In terms of what we want, I'm keen on outside speed and skill, I want two game plans, the first we have is a contested game, which I love, but then we need to be able to play a possession game, so am keen on any player that has the latter.
Am not sure about JKH either, I thought his cards were marked but his late run of games suggest he stays, I also think Hunt and Stretch stick around. AM calling time on Lewis or he just plays Casey. Tyson who I rate highly is surplus because after watching him play I have not seen him adapt to any role other than inside mid. I reckon Tyson would be a good fit for the Suns.
Will see, will always regret not seeing Hoges kicking 10 in the Red and the Blue, always felt like a day out was only a game away.

I used to date a circus trapeze artist who needed both her shoulders done, this is not a simple surgery, stacks of recovery involved, NTG is being kind. Makes the Geelong game a standout and explains Saturday. I wonder if he's been having needles.

The thing that irritates the hell out of me, is how long it will take to find out how we will respond, do we take learnings out of this, or something much worse, the manner of the loss really has me writhing in agony. I am impressed with the improvements and believe Goodwin when he says these are young men with their own destinies, but jezzus effing christ, really did they have to mess the bed like that. As of now I am going to choose to believe the coach and that we are more than that, but I really can't wait to see it, the next 7 months are going to be torture. I do also think it has been a year where we made huge strides and I want to thank PJ. I also think every player has tried their guts out and hope they have a ripper holiday and enjoy what they did achieve, which was plenty.

You marvelously ignore the salient point he made to have a go at the messenger ? lol
Bowled middle stump
When the messenger only has balls for sniping, I am happy for anyone to mortar the crud out of him.

He was terrible today but he has to play on next year for mine.
We’ll never know the full extent of the impact he’s had but I reckon it’s definitely more than what the eyeball test shows. Plus we do not have replacements for that position, not yet anyway.
Agree with his overall value, but today's game was the kiss of death, he did exactly what we were worried an inexperienced player would do. As brave as I think he has been and as great as he is, I also think he now 'hears footsteps' and is no longer a one touch player. Keep him as a coach but Lever takes his place. This is not because he is slow either, he failed badly at the QB role today.

Hard to watch, just wanted to say a big thank you for all thr fans that made the trip to Perth.
What will make me more than sad is if i see supporters giving up on us, we are back.

Are you guys serious? Rance is a great, he just had a bad night.
Tell me you wouldn’t have him in our side.
Hi Red,
Rance can do some brilliant things, fair enough, but with respect disagree re having in the side; Davis, Stewart, Hurn, Laird, McGovern are all players I would love before Rance, his acting really irritates the bejeezus out of me.

Richmond finished 13th in 2016, their supporters wanted Hardwick gone but they kept him, premiership 2017.
Collingwood finished 13th in 2017, their supporters wanted Buckley gone but they kept him...2018?
Beat me too it, not sacking the coach has paid off twice.

I reckon they are going to revisit the double bye (end of r23 and winner of qual final), it does seem to be an advantage playing every week of finals in recent history.

We will need a plan for Cox. J Smith in this week may be a godsend.
I wish, J Smith if he brings a motorized step ladder, with that sort of delivery we will need Gawn dropping back. Every pie is up and about.

can you use painkillers on a corkie that has bleed into the knee?
swelling causing pain, yes i think, but I'm not Webber, I had one, I reckon he has a meniscus tear my self.

The crowd shots have brought me back to earth, I really hate the Pies...

Do you think he is needled up, or they will do that at 1/2 time ? Either way even if they get up by a miracle he'll be rooted next week.

I really shouldn't be enjoying this as much as I am
I feel dirty too...
Jetta vs Cox, will be biggest story since David got a lucky one in against Goliath. But seriously Gawn better be watching this.
Loved the call 'An American has dominated like this since Billy Graham at the G'.

we were robbed of keating vs primus due to the latter's knee knacks
are Keating, yes a good call the September specialist, was ridiculous how good he was in those finals games.

My dad, who was not without a clue about footy, always said you need a Ruckman in a Grand Final - would GAWN/GRUNDY be the best big man duel ever in a Grand Final????

IIIFFFF we make next week, I want to beat the Pies, I might be dead of a heart attack though, and for sure suffering every stress related condition ever. As a 3rd generation Demon, my hatred of the Pies is marrow deep, a hundred years of loathing. Collingwood has found another gear, running like we do, will be a ding dong context. I would like to see Rance get smashed by Viney though... in fact I wouldn't mind seeing him smashed tonight as well.

Dew has never impressed me all that much when I've heard him speak. Admittedly, he's overseeing a basket-case of a club and any positivity is in very short supply.
From an image perspective (and I mean this with best intent) he needs to trim down himself because I believe that will provide a healthy layer of leadership cred that the Suns need. Watching Goodwin get physically involved in training is a huge variable in fostering friendships and the culture we now have.
It's pretty hard to do that when you're morbidly obese.
^^^ This, I was always worried about missing out on Dew, but have to say now there is a question mark when you see his shape. Of the finalists - Buckley/Simpson/Goodwin/Hardwick they all look to have terrific rigs, certainly worth respect, I wouldn't mind paying to see Goodwin Vs Buckley go at it on the weights. Clarkson carries himself well too, I reckon aerobically he'd even shade Goodwin, then again maybe not. Overall I would say we have the fittest coach in the current list (Buckley can't run because of his hamstrings).
Thoughts on other coaches (I wonder if there is any correlation between the coaches fitness and how the team is going, Leigh Matthews and Mark Williams are the last slightly tubby Premiership coaches I can think of).
Carlton - Bolton is an ant, but has no choice, cannot get fat as a small man and coach an AFL team.
Footscray - Bevo's chest is close to slipping, but still has some serious guns.
St Kilda - Alan is still trim.
Freo - Lyon looks very unhealthy - on a par with Dew, looks like he needs viagra.
Brisbane - Fagan doing ok for an old fella, I would want to play for this guy.
Essendon - Worsfold lost weight this year, looks like he could still bench a 100, maybe weight loss drugs?.
Sydney - Horse has been getting heavier, he's well past his 102 kg playing weight, could this herald a slide in the Sydney list.
GWS - Leon is getting soft around the middle, maybe not the example for GWS's colts?
North - Brad has been fighting turning into Dew, has slipped and recovered (I know what that is like, the slipping part)
Geelong - Chris needs a big preseason - his skinfolds would be worse than mine and he's 6 years younger.
BTW.... If you think I am procrastinating at work you are correct.
