quite often Ted what we want and what we get are very different. I suspect the infamous year of 2019 is going to haunt the MFC for decades. Rightly or wrongly the majority of other club supporters I know view the MFC as tankers. That is going to take some time to go away.

I guess it is the time frame bing181. IMHO the MFC will struggle to make the top 4 before 2018/9. We simply still have an average list at best and it will take IMO again a decade to get us to a grand final let alone win one. On that basis add ten years to my age and I thing it is doubtful I will be around. I seriously doubt it will happen in my life time we are coming from the bottom and in the current era it is long way to the top and there are a couple of new teams that the AFL are determined to see win a flag before us. As well as another 15 sides who will not roll over and let us pass them. I would like to spend what may be my last decade watching a powerful club that wins a lot more games than it loses. If a miracle should happen and we snag a flag over the next ten years I will be a very happy guy.

My problem Robbie is I think that is a very long way off. I will be happy to see a strong MFC that wins 75% of its games and is a power in the league. I doubt I have the time to see the MFC win the big one in September. You will just have to cheer harder for me. Until then can we just win 8 games in 2013? Please

I am with you 100% robbief My comment was in the sense of I would rather play finals football for 5 years versus the last five years of crap. Would a rather have the results Daniher produced or Bailey? easy answer for me.

I love her to death biffen but that is beyond the call of duty. One new member is not worth that much labour.
