Hi guys just to prove I am actually insane I went along this morning. Had a good conversation with another on looker. We concluded we have a poor list but neither one of us need to go today to work that out. To be honest not a lot to report, a normal training session. T Mac took part in the session and I would be surprised if he is not selected. Sylvia run / walked the boundary, not sure why as he has not played for two weeks and could hardly be injured. Perhaps as he won' t play this week he was not doing match simulation. J Mac looked in good nick I hope he plays. I did not see Neeld , others ran the session. It was a little wet and slippery and guess what Guys like Dawes and Jones seem to be able to handle the ball and mark first grab but Fitzpatrick and others of his ilk dropped marks and slid about. Unfortunately we have way too many of the later and no were enough of the former. From my past visits they always look good on the track it is on the weekend the rot sets in.

I have already corralled a modest amount of money ( all I can afford ) for the inevitable begging request To save the Dees once again. My guess will be around October when DM has left and we have announced the new Coach. Closest the MFC will get to optimism in 2013. J's Ch---- this is familiar

My experience ( going back a long time ago) is you need to start with very good Scotch or Cognac. The Very Good stuff is more like a liqueur. Poor quality tastes like kerosene. Not that I have drunk much kerosene!

I did something I have never done as well Redleg I did not intend to listen / watch the game.I heard the score on ABC news and got what i expected. Like you the MFC gives me nothing but pain now. Never in 53 years have I ever been in this position, even in the dark days of the seventies did I feel remotely close to this. I wake every day now and half wish to pick up the HUN and find we have returned our licence. God delivery me.

I am more than happy to swap playing lists with them.Whatever way you want to cut it hardnut they have played almost ever year of that 50 in finals and one two flags. I would trade those results for ours in a heart beat.

It is the next few months that is the problem Redleg.Amazing to say this but this weekend with the game in WA on Sunday night I might be able to block out the MFC and enjoy the weekend. If the media will just talk about other teams I am home. Another interesting factor is i have almost lost all interest in AFL teams. Most weekends I struggle to know who has won. The converse is I am really enjoying the Amos and plan to visit my old Country team in July. Big weekend planned with a few of my old mates from my school days.

Would Mathews Knights still be there?Some how I doubt it

I have gone over ever Casey, AFL and Preseason game I can find.Gillies is never mentioned in the better players, the Casey game at port he had 8 possessions. The guy is a rolled gold dud. Pedersen has had good AFL games and and won the VFL award while at North. I still have no understanding on how he gets picked in the group for the Freo game.
