Guys can we please stop creating threads that are slight variations on existing threads. It has got the ridiculous stage. Nasher can close some of them please

Went to watch Uni Blues on saturday. Had a great afternoon ( remember when all tha games were Saturday afternoon ) they won the game. Then came saturday night, not a surprise really but I was surprised the game was over at the 15 minute mark of the first quarter. Yesterday I was washing my car before attending a friends birthday party in the afternoon. And I did something I have never done in my 52 years of suppoting the Dees. I peeled off my "demons Sticker" I am too brittle to take the derision associated with being a dees supporter now. It did not help of course that a large number of them were Tiger fans. Just shows how low have I sunk? And I have every confidence worse is to come before 2012 is over.

Just read the story on Leigh Williams on the MFC web site. Just brings back the reality that in the end it is only a game. Hope the kid gets back before the end of 2012

Cannot promise that mate I have not seen the last three games but there does not seem much to be positive about. My 17 month old Grand Daughter is fantastic, ran to me at the airport this morning. How is that?

Got off the plane H_T to be told by my daughter the usual applied. After a nap I watched the casey game and enjoyed my second game of football for 2012. MFC will be no fun in 2012 / 3 so I am concentrating on Casey and UNI blacks. The last three weekends have convinced me there is life outside of the MFC.

I cannot believe how calm I have been the last two weeks WJ. There are however other reasons to come home. I am busting to see my Grand Daughter

Good morning Guys arrive back Saturday morning. Any chance I could get off the plane to the news we lost by less than 5 goals? I had this dream last night that we got done by 22 goals and Neeld was sacked on saturday morning. G Lyon took over as no one else wanted the job. Nothing unusual I guess for a dees supporter, the dreams of a GF victory no longer happen even in my dreams.

On Saturday I went to the football and had a very good time. No I said Saturday went to see Uni Blacks play Oakleigh in the Amateurs. Enjoyed it no end, you are close to the Game can hear the coaches address etc. Game was played less like the AFL and more like the game of 15 years ago. I could actually work out the game plan Standard is not as good but it was played at a fairly fast rate. Uni Blacks got up, had a couple of beers with a couple of mates on the way home. All in all a good day. Then I went yesterday. I cannot work out what they are trying to achieve with the usual result Came home again with my guts torn out, with no hope in sight. Not much more needs to be said. But I am now off to the welcome relief of the USA for the next couple of weeks. Do not have to endure the debacles of St Kilda, Geelong or Hawthorn. I hope there is a MFC left when I get home. Good luck I feel for you all,

A strange calm has come over me. Late yesterday I realised that we are indeed due for a very sad and depressing year. So I have given up all expectations for 2012. The only real thing to look forward to now is the trading period and Draft day. With a bottom or near bottom finish, comp draft picks, and talk of new jumper sponsors in September and October That should provide something to look forward to. Of course it is also helped by the fact that I will be out of town next week so I can largely ignore that result. The off OS for the next three games, in the good old USA you really have to look for AFL results to find any. So bliss has arrived no more MFC for 4 weeks, that sounds like heaven.

Where did you get this info? He is not listed as such on the MFC web site Then again Greg Healy is not list as a board member either.

Redleg you may get your wish and we will not need to tank either. However we have no chief of recruiting who is going to pick them? But then again it seems the chiefs of the last ten years have not set the world on fire. Perhaps we are better of without one, It is hard to believe you could not do as well picking them out of a barrel.

Late yesterday i had taken about all I could concerning AFL Football and the MFC. So I made myself a promise that I would Ignore anything to do with the AFL and the MFC for 24 hours. All was was going well till I picked up todays Hun and wham what a head line. But I held fast and did not read any of the story ( that was really hard ), I avoided radio by listening to a CD when out in the car. The result has been unexpected, I feel very calm and I have a new prospective on my liesure time. You know there are 1 billion people in China who do even know that the MFC exists. So I am now looking at the MFC in a new light. DO NOT OBSESS We are a football club that is towards the bottom of the competition in a number of areas. So what I have had a lot of fun times as well as a lot of crap. We may well be crap for the balance of this decade but i have been here before I know what to expect. I find it hard to believe we will win on saturday in Perth but who knows the margin might be less than I think. I get a lot of fun out of Demonland and the majority of you dees supporters out there even if as a football team we are very ordinary. I cannot change what happens to the MFC, if it fails to exist in 2020 so be it i might not exist either. The up side is enjoy life do not let the Bloody AFL get you down. Carn the Dees
