BD I hope he has big pockets because he will take on someone who does. The sad thing is forever more he will not be remembered as a Brownlow medal / Premiership winning Player. A couple of weeks ago I said that Hird / Essendon was pulling the tail of a big Tiger. Seems the Tiger is showing its teeth. IMO the big problem for Hird / Essendon is they must be sorely trying the patience of the other 17 clubs. A number of which owe their very existence to the AFL. If it comes to a fight between them and the AFL they might find they have few supporters among the other 17 clubs.

Got my copy today (electronic version). Has some good articles about Toumpas and Hogan. Concentrates on the 2014 year ahead, probably nothing much positive can be said about 2013. I imagine it will look good in the hard copy form. I am impressed a classy effort IMO.

During the time I was there he trained ok. I was watching his kicking Arrow as this gets mentioned as one of the main reasons we recruited him. I think he was called an elite kick. I have never seen him as an elite kick. Today he was reliable, certainly way better than a number of his team mates. However IMO no elite kicking today. He is IMO at best an average AFL player who will struggle to make the 22 most weeks.

P-man this probably says a lot about the state of our team over the last few years. I tend to agree with you but one is guy with no stamina and the other takes a few good marks each week. Seems like we have had so few good Players we admire ones who do the occasional good thing.

My understanding is you would need a lot more than $6.6K to recoup your 5 mill. If the first lot of prodigy cannot run out of sight on a dark night then the figure drops alarmingly.

Then they are following the right team TBF. AS for me it is almost the only thing that is.
