NAB Challenge 1 - Richmond v Melbourne

The main word there YD was "almost" It is my observation that the good players always seem to be able to get the kick or hand pass away in time. Speed is a mental as well as physical thing. -
My sister in-law? Sorry wrong redhead!

A little more than "something" I would suggest! -
I was reply to your comment about what happens if Fitzy has a poor game? History tells you things Saty. If you ignore it then it tends to repeat itself.
-
As I see it Saty Fitzy has played some good games so we know he can produce. Pedersen has never played good games. If Fitzy has a poor one ( which he will ) we can be confident he will turn it around. With Pedersen we have nothing to fall back to.

How will the gameplan evolve with a forward line?
old dee replied to Dees2014's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think I have less years left than you, 15-16 I too would love but that truly is a stretch. If we make the top eight in that time we will have done well. -
That is a tough one Reverend, how do we know what their job is every week? Also the idea only works if the opposition continues to fall for it. Before long the good sides twig to the idea and then leave the person free as they know he is a decoy. The Decoy then needs to be used. In Pedersen's case is he up to it?

NAB Challenge 2 - Melbourne v Geelong

Unfortunately it would seem deeko that in recent years we have planned for the best and got the worst. -
A Small Aside Do not think I am a snob but I went to a local Park yesterday with my wife and GD for a picnic etc. There are some very ordinary humans on this Earth, My God what are we turning Australia into? And these were "real Aussies" Not an Asian, middle eastern or North African person in sight. Perhaps we could swap a "Very ordinary Aussie" for every boat person we let in!

Me too, I also think that having the best tap Ruckman is not the be all. We beat Richmond in spite of the fact that it would appear Richmond won more hit outs than the Dees. Hawthorn won a grand final last year with ordinary Ruckmen. -

Relative term that wyl For someone 20 that could easily mean next decade. For me that means 2016. But to be honest in reality it probably means 2018-20 -

How will the gameplan evolve with a forward line?
old dee replied to Dees2014's topic in Melbourne Demons
No but I am finding it increasingly hard to see him taking part at senior level for some weeks. He has proven to have a body that does heal well from injury over his time with the MFC. He as another expensive year contract in 2015. The management will be wanting a good year in 2015 from him. So IMO he will not be pushed this season. Based on the above I think the majority of the forward tall work is going to fall to Hogan, Dawes and fitzy. -
Just a small comment Chook. I think he is a pretty straight shooter as well.
-
I am not suggesting he is any sort of a liar. However how do you know someone is a good liar or not? A good liar may actually be very good liar by making you think he is a bad one

There is also no point in a ruckman who is seldom on the park. -

It will be interesting to see the change when we have two or three of Hogan, Dawes and Fitzy available. I think Hogan will play a limited number of games this year. So it will be up to Dawes and Fitzy most weeks. -
