I share your feelings Bossdog I used to think that Aussie Rules was way better at the game now I think it is better on TV as you do not see as much of the rolling malls and because you only see a small part of the ground so almost never see half the ground with no one in it or 100 players coming on and off the ground all day. Visually it is now crap IMO.

Unfortunately DF there is little footage of him. In those days the VFL only had two games a week on TV and as we were crap we did not get too many game televised or recorded. I went week after week just to see him. Everything you hear is correct. If he played with a good side his reputation would be way higher, Reputations are solidified in finals and Grand finals. IF he had played with Hawthorn or Carlton at the time he would have won a norm Smith I have no doubt. A bit of my youth died yesterday.

I suspect that the board want to check where they stand if they sack him. I think he has said I will not resign If you sack me I will sue for wrongful dismissal. They have themselves a problem I don't think appealing a court decision would be a lawful reason to sack someone. For one millisecond I feel sorry for them.
