I think there is a lot more potential in him than Aussie. Like his work, especially over the previous couple of weeks when where not playing well as a team. Never gives up and has a number of dimensions to his game.

I think that is pretty close, I have looked at the fixture 10 times. Unless we get a lot better in the next month I stuggle to see us higher than 9th.

His game on Friday night showed how much we missed him for the first 7 games. He is a beauty.

I disagree I think he has been good since the start of the season even when Jamar was playing I thought he improved out of sight. Even in our poor games and he never gave up, kept fighting till the end. High light of the season so far for me.

After what I think has been a very ordinary start to 2011 Bennell earned his spot last night. Did enough last night to give me hope. Now for the Pies Jamie go get them.

AS said earlier I doubt they would be getting a run if the injuries list was shorter. But please lets not lionise Bailey, he has little choice. And whats to lose at this point. If the team loses " well we are trying the kids to give them experience" If we win " see what is just around the corner" Probably do the same myself. And for an old cynic like me " could it be worse than the majority of 2011"!

When was the last time he had a collision of any kind?\ The up side is he is never injured!

I was worried we would be feeding a young Guy to the wolves. I thought all this year at Casey would be the go but with injuries mounting I am not sure we have any choice. Who knows he might shine, stranger things have happened.

At the end of the day we simply do not have the cattle. Before the injuries started mounting it was obvious to me that we are not good enough. And that is certainly the case with all the injuries. Our best team has 7 - 8 players that are good enough to take us to the top four. The rest are average players who are simply not good enough at AFL level. They occasionly play good games but are mainly short of the require skill level. AS MFC members we over rate a number of our players. The results quite clearly show we are a bottom six side.
