I'm surprised that posters were unfamiliar with the words termagant and harridan. They were in common usage in 19th century writing and before. The Victorian and part of the Edwardian eras must have been wonderful times. In moments of bliss, I imagine myself as a disgustingly rich mill or factory owner, abusing my power in the most dissolute ways. Arrh what might have been!

This stuff should be banned alongside the unnameable on this site. I have sat through Harry Potter movies with smelly and disgusting chidlers . An altogether nauseating experience!
