Think you are way overselling Blease. Defensively he was beaten in nearly every contest, at one point there was a loose ball on the ground it took him 15 efforts to pick it up!! I stress I thought Brucey was a good bloke, he did celebrate every goal, and every time he ran out for Melbourne he bleed for the Dees. But that aside, he now plays for Hawthorn and therefore it doesn't matter how many loyal games he played.. he's just another hawthorn player.

Chill out champ. Jackattack's put the time in organising and trying to teach people. He wasn't the only one who vetoed, he simply stated that he thought the trade was poorly weighted. Robbo, I am neither here nor there or whether the trade should have been veto'ed or not. To me it came across as enormously surprising however, to be fair to some of the website there were countless comments made by Jackattack and others who waited to veto the trade for you for you or snomeD to get online and give us reasoning on why the trade should go through. I understand your frustration but at the same time countless efforts were made by many to get some idea what was in your heads... Its a pity we only got an answer a week after the trade was offered.

He didnt duck his head or anything it was a high-ish mark where he had 5 meters from anyone. He took his eyes off the ball to obviously see/worry where opponents were and the ball went straight through his hands. Don't get me wrong it was gross but i've seen him do worse...

I spoke to a melbourne player this morning who had no idea that this had happened and was quite shocked taking the general consensus that 'it was probably the wrong thing to do'.. Nothing new just found it interesting, but then again why would the players be told.

We got over 30,000 so we made some sort of profit. I was sitting second level and I have never ever heard the crowd so electric for Melbourne in many many years. I had shivers even before we hit the front.

I'm not complaining about the rule but I am hating on it hard at the moment for a different reason! My supercoach, dreamteam and ultimate footy team have all been rooted because of it! I had Connors and Foley both in my team combined for [censored] all possies, and I can tell you through out the year this will actually wreck games! It's semi- reasonable for the Friday game because you find out about the sub an hour before the game but for every other game they only have to name it the hour before their game thus no way for us to change it. I'm blaming it if I have bad fantasy years :D

Brad Gotch, coach of the Scorps was on SEN this morning talking to KB in what ironically probably would have been the identical time Fev was pulling the stick up and down in his hoodie. Anyway Gotch was mentioning how well he was progressing ladididida. I want to believe in the guy and although I can not relate to his problems, i get frustrated with so many people trying to help him and him appearing to push them away and doing his own thing. When you are wearing a hoodie to hide yourself, you're thinking about what your doing. Sadly, i bid farewell to Fev.

We spin it around now onto football, our cheeky jokes have been made but let's talk footy. I'm all for Strauss but you cannot force development like some expect! There are so so many threads in football suggesting every skill can be taught in our great game but the perfect kick you either have or you don't. For some reason, whenever James is mentioned the topic turns to how he gets lazy because he only has a kick etc etc etc. In 3 years we will have a weapon that few other teams have, and that is a confident running half back flanker that will be putting the ball on our forwards [censored] from the back of the center square. I can see some of the flaws discussed, but as a kid trying to find your way in the wide world of AFL your first reaction is probably to air on the safe side to prevent mistakes. Sadly, in his first ever game James had a shocking mistake that was also played over and over again. The mental strength to get over things like that is tough, on your first day at job very few people are made a mockery of in front of all their fellow employees over and over again let alone the public. Let's cut the kid some slack and get excited because when he gets going we will have the most explosive backline in the AFL.
