I'd put him in an aslyum boat after watching the Casey game last week TDW. He did one good run and spent the rest of the game carrying on on the boundary line or getting beaten by his opponent in conditions where classy players would prove to be a class above their VFL pals. He did not. May be a good player one day old Blease but he is rawer than the chicken at Sofias.

I had written an enormous post on how every person can often sneak into an alley as the toilets are full, inaccessible or whatever. I jumped onto the HeraldSun website just to check thats where it was and I re-read that he had urinated on a bar. I was critical of Jared in the Match thread in the first quarter even questioning why he was still playing AFL however, his second half and equally his second quarter were terrific. My minor concern with him is that he often attempts to mark when punching is clearly the better option, especially deep in defence. I love when he comes across as a third man to mark eg. last quarter after Jones turned it over but, when one on one he tries to mark far too often imo.

Amen. Our infatuation with our young players is funny. Gysberts was great, but if he'd had Moloney's game we'd be calling for Brownlow's next year. Gizzy was fantastic and if he has a full year like this I will be so happy however, pity Mr.Webber's car last night wasn't as good as this Webber's comment

Not sure how many watched it on Foxsports and how many were at the game so disregard if you weren't watching the TV coverage but every single thing did Brian Taylor blew so much smoke up Frawley's a55. Good some Melbourne players are finally getting recognition but I cant help but think given his uncle was sitting right next to Brian he was led to be extra nice. One time Frawley put a ball on the toes of Sylvia yet Taylor wouldn't shut up about what a beautiful kick it was until Gerard Healy told him it ended in an error. Anyone else notice it?

Credit where credit is due though, he has been good this quarter.

He's a defender yet every single time he tries to mark. Even 5 m out in their goal square. He needs to learn that punching is also a win and certainly better than dropping a mark in Banfields awaiting hands.
