  1. To further than only Gold Coast and Richmond are younger than us. Gold Coast by only 1 year and Richmond by some 10 days. Richmond have blooded 4 players with minimal age this week and dropped Brad Miller though, so last week we were in fact the younger team..
  2. Lobster I dont have other teams however ours is 22 years 182 days. Comparable to the Bulldogs, who are 24 years 313 days. They have 2 and a half years on our list. Not getting forward, I do think we're a chance tomorrow but this does make aware the issues Western Bulldogs will have in the future. 2 and a half years they have and we're still in better form and a better team. Scary!
  3. They can't spell Internet let alone use it Hate those pies Golly woo!
  4. From what I've seen and for some reason I seem to go to the games where he doesn't play well but he hasn't looked clean enough for AFL standard. However, some players just shine in AFL without being great in the VFL because the speed suits them and this could well be Blease's case. I certainly hope it is!
  5. Playing on words and with words is far more imaginative than calling Tapscott the penetrator because he has a long kick. The bloke starts a thread and you throw him down. Jesus Demonland is getting [censored].
  6. As fantastic as that is in theory it is a two fold effect. The more you single out players the more the media centers their attention around the person. Watts copped so much unnecessary treatment from the media purely because a poor team had noone else to play so they threw a puppy into a pack of hounds. I am incredibly proud of him as a supporter for proving the doubters wrong, but like I said in my first post it seemed tacky to clap off the kid every time he came to the bench. With everyone screaming out the messiah and it seems to me more pressure gets added and if he was just treated like every player he and we would be better off. Let me stress at the 28th minute mark of the 4th quarter if he has played exceptionally i'll be leading the brigade to stand and clap as one but whether you disagree or not standing for him running off looked and sounded poor.
  7. he's fine with the ball Morton's issue has and always will be he's an idiot. We're squashed back in the back 50 against Collingwood and he stands in one spot waving his hands not moving expecting someone to kick it to him 70m, did the same thing twice on Saturday. If he makes a lead it would create space and an option yet stands out the back hoping for an easy kick. The bloke doesn't think. I think his disposal most of the time but especially his marking is very good, but he does not do any team things and the Joel MacDonald marking contest showed that clearly, whilst on Saturday there were instances in which it occured again. We all know he doesn't have the body to be Brent Moloney but on his salary there is no excuses for avoiding any body contact whatsoever and his stand-off attitude suggests just that.
  8. no you seething idiot, a standing ovation when one runs to the bench I am all for at the end of a game when they have played a blinder, it's seems to be tradition that b.o.g always gets a rousing reception as they run off for the final time, however after one contested mark and goal and than 5 minutes later a standing ovation for him running off was over the top. Myself along with all the people I was sitting with all agreed that it seemed silly. I celebrate harder than anyone after a goal but it looks one-sided when you give a bloke a standing ovation as he comes off when the best player on the field runs off without a clap. I wasn't expecting supporter outcry and to the [censored]-bag that suggested i am the reason Melbourne have a bad name for supporters well I am lost for words on how to describe you.
  9. You're joking... Redden and Rockliff have both arguably surpassed him in the Brisbane midfield already. Rich is a forward running long kicking nothing. He has one attribute and I wouldn't trade Rohan Bail for him.
  10. With all due respect Robbo, and i'm sure i'm probably a target you are aiming at but you have personally dealt me a few trades this year which give me a downgrade in both actual and projected and add to a position I dont need. While it's all well and good to say people are difficult I'm not looking to trade for gags if I can get a deal that suits both parties I will. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but I have never proposed a trade that hasn't seen at least an upgrade on their projected or their actual position. I remember vividly someone rejecting a trade i sent them saying the projected rankings meant nothing to them, sent them one the week after with a huge actual increase and they still turned it down. Some people just are looking for certain deals and you can't get frustrated at them for that, "if it aint break don't fix it as the saying goes" probably applies for some..
  11. As much as this is bad and i'm glad the ban has been put in effect I do think Sherman did a fantastic thing by coming forward. By the AFL guidelines it is illegal for them to disclose which players were involved to outside sources and therefore if Sherman had remained quiet there is a high possibility it would have been kept under wraps for a long long time. I hated what he did but I personally have said things in the heat of an AFL match it just saddens me that some peoples abuse has to be based on their colour or religion.
  12. Love him. However, hated the Melbourne supporters clapping him running to the bench after one contested mark and goal in the second quarter. It makes us look like a joke
  13. Demon_Land7 was bottom of the ladder 6 rounds ago. Beats snomeD who was sitting 2nd 9-0 and cracks into the 8. Talk about coming home with a wet sail. Look out RR
  14. Agreed re everything bar Petterd and Strauss. Thought Petterd was very lively all day, maybe not 100% effective but his talent we all know of his intensity has been questioned and he showed he cared today. Strauss had 10 touches and from memory didn't get over the ball once nor fumble.. He was far from best but he was matched up on a far bigger body and beat him too so think tiny bit harsh there. Jurrah- He Is Back
  15. Jamar also wasn't a pick 4.
  16. Thank god RobbieF isn't our contracts negotiator at the club. He'd be on his knees crying looking up and Scully saying why? why? Every game of football the kid plays his value rises. Regardless of where he plays football next year and I have it on very good authority he has not signed and at present is not interested in GWS as a manager you would be telling him not to sign until the end of the year. It doesn't bother me if he stays or goes to be honest. I like watching the kid play but i'd personally be more devastated if we kept him this year and they stole Trengove next year which they still can do. If we keep Scully and have another year like this next year I think I might just have to burn down every media outlet
  17. Ive discovered DPP who double as defenders are invaluable. Defenders are just so useless in Ultimate Footy, all three of mine are rather > than 200. Argh!
  18. RR i think i've made you an offer that'll will leave you considering for a few days haha!!
  19. I'm almost certain that in the NFL they wear noise reducing ear pieces to negate the home crowd's. The umpires honestly looked like they were waiting for Collingwood supporters to go up so that they could give a bigger cheer. Im very two eyed even when i'm watching the dees but on Monday we got d**ked hard!
  20. Sorry guys just to comment quickly I was lucky (or unlucky) enough to go into the rooms after the game and Rivers was genuinely devestated. He was sitting by himself just in a state of disbelief. He didn't play great but it's not all his fault 1 on 1 on Cloke ain't easy. Midfield didn't work hard enough
  21. Some would say this.. but some could also provide the notes that he and CC also failed at Fremantle.
  22. Nah dont delete it, if you take the time to read it, it makes sense. Very interesting. Shows regardless of the injuries Collingwoods team is still so so far in front of us in terms of experience. Maybe I'm not so confident in us winning after all..
  23. Agree 100% Striker my only disagreement is I think you're overrating a few 2009 and underrating a few 2008s. Phil Davis plays every week for Adelaide and is probably one of the few to beat Buddy this year..
  24. Ill watch only because I love the guy. However, Before the Game is by far the worst show on television. The same jokes every week for 3 years, Lehmo and Mick Molloy along with Andy Maher and Dave Hughes all who know notihng about footy. Just cannot stand it!
  25. Dick, Rounds and Keeffe all playing for Collingwood VFL whilst Petterd and Bate for Casey
