  1. Did the whole season. 8th with 11 wins. Nearly put Essendon vs Lions at Docklands as a draw, but I made it an Essendon win, which kept us in because Brisbane were 9th on percentage
  2. After Rnd 11 1 St Kilda 40 2 Geelong 36 3 Fremantle 36 4 Collingwood 32 5 Sydney 32 6 Western Bulldogs 24 7 Melbourne 24 8 Port Adelaide 24 9 Carlton 20 10 Brisbane 20 11 North Melbourne 20 12 Hawthorn 16 13 Essendon 12 14 West Coast 8 15 Adelaide 4 16 Richmond 4 Richmond for a shock win over Port based on the fact nobody has won the week after playing us
  3. So the wooden spoon's going to be decided by dodgy umpiring decisions as well?
  4. Frees overall: Melbourne 19 Dogs 13 Reversed goals: Melbourne 2 Dogs 0
  5. I was going to say that.
  6. For example, wearing the exact same colours as us creating confusion for our players and costing us a turnover when we were 4 points down with a minute left to go.
  7. In: Watts, Wonaeamirri/Morton if fit Out: Dunn, Johnson if Wonna or Morton is fit

    McKenzie

He tackles like his life depends on it. I remember a situation where a Doggie was running out of a tight contest, and McKenzie tackled and slipped, so only caught his jumper, and still managed to drag the Doggies player down. What a gun.
  9. What doubt? The goal umpire was signalling a goal. Non-goal of the year goes to Brad Green.
  10. So Grimes had a few bad kicks last night. So did everybody. You can't expect him to make every single last kick pinpoint accurate. Besides, he ran circles around the Doggies at times.
  11. I seem to remember that as Brent Monoley getting penalised for tackling high, when the Doggies player ducked under his arm then got tackled. That set up one of the last two.
  12. Some I can name right now who had more touches in a quarter Darren Milburn - 19 Luke Power - 18 Marcus Ashcroft - 19 That's it.
  13. Champion Data should look into that
  14. No, that is actually umpires go home. I think you're looking for arbiter eunt domus.
  15. I think that whenever there is confusion, the goal umpire's original decision is the final one. If he was unable to see it (knocked over, blind, etc.) then a video replay should come in as a last resort.
  16. I'm actually going go to on TheBigTip (write your own sport articles, eventually get paid :D) and write up about the umpires.
  17. Arbiteri ite domum. UMPIRES GO HOME
  18. The main thought of most Melbourne supporters I would think
  19. *8 points **Doggies and the Pies
  20. You would've massacred your throat tonight. Even if you're not one of the screaming type of supporters.
  21. DEMONLAND IF YOU READ THIS TOPIC CHANGE THE TITLE FROM UNOFFICIAL TO OFFICIAL PLEASE. THANK YOU. And agent99, I was one of many booing, and it sounded awesome.
  22. Yeah, I'm kinda bored. But the fact remains that we have been screwed by the umpires this year, not once, but twice. I've been to every game so far this season, and every single game I remember multiple free kicks against us which were definitely not free kicks and received massive uproars from the crowd. And the Doggies game was the worst of the lot. It really sucks how our only Friday night game of the season was ruined by the horrible umpiring decisions. As I've heard and said before, the umpires are sponsored by OPSM, but they can't see [censored]. And if this post pisses anybody off, just think - we could be 5-2 if the umpiring was half-decent. We're 3-4. EDIT: I have a link to an enquiry page if anybody wants to release some anger. Click Contact the AFL, there is a section with umpiring mentioned in it. Link
  23. Okay, let's bag the boundary ump for being blind then
