not good news about blease. does anyone knows whats wrong ?
He did break his leg last year. Considering how much you run in AFL it's tough on your legs.
Don't worry, he'll hopefully break into the team this year if he's fit.

Dreamin' Demon, you're dreaming if you think Watts should be dropped/
-
Hopefully Jurrah will be back before Round 15

Taylor Walker (Adel)
Chris Dawes (Coll)
Jesse White (Swans)
Mitch Thorp (VFL)
Justin Westhoff (Port)
MCKINLEY, Ben (WC)
DOWLER, Beau (Hawks)
Rhys Stanley (StKilda)
Ryan GAMBLE (Geelong)
These two look the best, I'd like them in our forward line

WATTS it like to be the ODD one out
I don't mind. He had a good game considering he must've been under pressure playing with Nic Nat and our top two picks from last year who have already showed some great performances. He definitely played better than the Scullgove twins...and Nic Nat just had those two speckies, he stood around for the rest of the game.

Ridiculous.
I know he wasn't the best, but I was really glad that he played a solid game even though it was talked up a bit. And the way he took it to Schofield really impressed me. I'll be less biased next week, but I thought 'easily top six' and he was the one that caught my eye this week.
-
Pffft.
What would you prefer to be, 4 and 4, or 3 and 5?
-
IN - Gysberts, Morton or Wonna
OUT - Bruce, Johnson
-
Lets just win the six of them.
+1

There's a good example of the Saints getting pushed around by Essendon last night - they wore their clash strip because Essendon pretty much don't have one.
Every AFL team should have a predominantly white clash strip. Most teams actually do. Essendon, it's time for you to follow suit.

I was going to say 'NO' but I realised FlowerPower beat me to it.
Miller's next AFL game will be for Gold Coast if we trade him there.
-
Jack Fitzpatrick or Max Gawn, none of our other current backup ruckmen are up to the task
-
So once again Melbourne has a good player with a facial injury after playing the West Coast. Is there a theme here? How did this one happen? Why was there no report (again)?
It was in a contest, he faceplanted the turf from going for the ball

I noticed on Saturday that WCE were able to kick 55m. from the goalsquare to an unattended player who had plenty of time to spot up a target upfield.
When we kicked in, there appeared to be no options. This resulted in enormous pressure on our defenders , over and over again.
Did anyone else notice this?
West Coast zoned the corridor and manned up on the flanks which left no options anywhere. Good tactics by Woosha unfortunately

Look, there ain't gonna be 4-7 players dropped.
IN - Gysberts, Morton
OUT - Johnson, Bruce
-
Who do we play next? We could write and pretend to be Port Marmalaide supporters, and make all sorts of stinging criticisms to Jeff Gieschen about "Team Umpires". Then they'd take revenge on them and we'd have "Team Umpires" helping us.
Sounds like a plan
Either way, something has to be done about it
-
That sounds suspicious. I'm going to go onto the AFL Game Analyzer and see all of the free kicks right now. I'll count the ones that shouldn't have been paid for both teams.
Never mind, they haven't put it up yet.

There's no point saying anything because the AFL thinks the sun shines out of their umpire's butts & they can do no wrong. Seeing Jamie Bennell grabbed by the arm and slung into the goal post, and then the West Coast player was given the ball - you've got to wonder if the umpires are one-eyed, blind, or under instruction from the AFL to prevent us from winning in the hope we will fold & then pave the way for Herr Dimitriou's new babies - GWC & WS.
So Aaron's nose was broken today was it? Last time we met WC they broke Colin Sylvia's jaw without report. Doesn't that just tell you something about the umpiring and the AFL in general? People will be thugs when they think they can get away with it - and WC KNEW they could get away with just about anything today.

OUT - Johnson, Bruce
Sound good?
-
We could write to the AFL and pretend to be people who don't follow Melbourne
-
Bartram - not good enough
Bate - injured, don't hate
Bennell - not very efficient
Bruce - saw him once
Davey - one word: FACEPLANT.
Frawley - best defender today?
Garland - top ten today
Green - one isn't enough
Grimes - under hefty pressure
Jamar - tried very hard
Johnson - didn't support Jamar
Jones - pick it up
McDonald - best on ground
Moloney - not so great
Rivers - must play loose
Scully - worked fairly hard
Sylvia - stuffed my Supercoach
Trengove - just not great
Warnock - great defense work
Watts - great contested marks
Hughes - needs more effort
McKenzie - worst game yet
-
And about Jared Rivers, the only thing he did wrong was letting Kennedy get the first two goals. He's best as a loose defender which isn't how Bails played him.
-
never been a fan of bennell. wanted him to get dropped weeks ago. but was told different by posters on this site....
He's a gun. Easily not one of the worst, easily in our 22 for next week.
-
Bottom line is Bailey has to go, and probably his assistants.
Harsh. Wrong too.
