2: McKenzie nominated for Rising Star.
3: Sylvia to break Kennedy's jaw back.

Agree and his attack on the ball for the goal was suitably fierce
Puts all the haters about his toughness to shame

Its interesting to note that on the cumulative Dreamteam points scoreboard Mfc are currently 6th. Which if a one or two close results had of gone our way, would probably be about right.

"It's good to have another young guy come through like Jack, and we experience the same things. He's going to be a super player and to have a teammate like that for the next 10 years, we'll build a special bond."
I know it's overused and inappropriate but...
Brought to you by the letter J.

Good to see Jurrah looking like he may return around Round 15 (vs Essendon)
-
He could win both. Saw both the other goals and Gram might get close, but Bennell's looked better :D
-
Well, I've done my fair share. Trust me, three is enough. I'm good for increasing the population.
No wonder the Pies have so many. They breed like feral cats.
What do you mean LIKE feral cats? They are...
-
Hope he gets it, will vote for him, but Gablett's game was outrageous
Yeah, but let's try and get him to win anyway.
Isn't it a great sign to have our top two draft picks both making the POTW after seven games?
-
Great to see they recognised him as one of the three best this round on the Herald Sun. Shame in the selections box thingy they called him Tom Cully.
EVERYBODY VOTE

This is a pointless and stupid topic that should be closed.

Be nice to get 3 in 4 weeks wouldn't it? And what's more, McKenzie will likley be playing against a rubbish side, away from their home at the new house of pain, the MCG.
Put some money on Jordie I say.
And dare I say it? Jack Watts the following week?
Perhaps a bit presumptuous give it's in SA. Still.
It's in Darwin actually, I doubt they'd play him up there.
-
Just as long as your internet's with Bigpond. Because I am, and it's unmetered, the uncounted usage for a few days ago was 1500 MB. Some other days it doesn't go past 10.

Not sure why this has not received any mentions.
In the last quarter on Friday night Bennell failed to put his body on the line. The ball was loose in front of Bennell, a bulldog player came sliding in and Bennell jumped over him instead of attacking the ball. Clearly chose not to contest the footy. I watched the replay again last night to make sure.
I think he has great skill and speed, and hopefully can be come an important player at Melbourne, but after this one I'd send him back to the VFL this week to work on his attitude.
What would you rather, jump over a player or not jump and risk the chances of a severe leg injury?
I would call it quick thinking rather than wussing out.
-
With Cox & Naitanui playing (supposedly); Jamar might need a back up against them. Considering the conditions on Friday night, etc I'm not surprised he didn't kick it. I don't think Jamar had that many either, come to think of it.
Well Lynden Dunn's next on the list. And Jamar rarely kicks it, he prefers to give it off to teammates in better spaces who can kick better.
IN Watts
OUT Dunn

First time I've seen the words "smart" and "Collingwood" put together. That is a worry. I'm just glad things turned out alright for you. Being a Demon Fan and all.
Jack will earn his call up. No doubt his name will be discussed this week for the Eagles.
I'm thinking no change.
Paul Johnson didn't kick the footy once Friday night.

I was talking to my Filth-supporting dad about Jack Watts and I asked when he should play. He responded, 'This week definitely.'
It seems the perfect round, doesn't it? Considering that it's only Melbourne vs West Coast, it's Saturday afternoon, it's not really a big game, and West Coast are down the bottom end of the ladder with not much of a backline, why not?
My dad also said, 'Play him the rest of the season, he's not getting any match experience in the reserves. Wouldn't it be great to see Scully, Trengove and Watts playing together? Watts will improve a lot if this happens'.
Hate to say it, but there's a smart Collingwood supporter who I agree with 100%.

Bailey - premiership coach soon
Bartram - not sighted much
Bate - leader up forward
Bennell - so much talent
Bruce - good rebound 50s
Davey - too much chipping
Dunn - 'ball is mine'
Frawley - great key defender
Garland - solid, not prolific
Green - was kept quiet
Grimes - broke packs well
Jamar - continues to impress
Johnson - back to Casey
Jones - solid, nice torpedoes (note the sarcasm)
McDonald - excellent tagging game
Moloney - wait, he played
Rivers - 2004 form's gone
Scully - rising star nomination
Sylvia - lost his boot
Trengove - what a gun
Warnock - mauls the forwards
Hughes - solid first game
McKenzie - THE tackling machine
-
Did the whole season. 8th with 11 wins. Nearly put Essendon vs Lions at Docklands as a draw, but I made it an Essendon win, which kept us in because Brisbane were 9th on percentage

Sam's probably just not taking any risks - remember his broken leg last year. Didn't play one game of footy.
And Stefan can't even make the reserve grade. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG-term prospect. That's too long.
