Take note, I might actually get a start this season.
-
Alright, I'm in.
-
He's a ball magnet, his skill is good and he's tough. Just like the way he goes about it.
Sewell a good comparison?
Anyway, big fat no to Clark. Great ruckman - should have been AA two years ago - but with Jamar a part of the no.1 clearance duo with Moloney and SME coming on as far as he has this year as a ruckman, forward and defender, Clark will have to play forward. He's not a forward and I don't want to see Melbourne pick up a talent such as him on $500k a year to play him in a position where he won't be giving too much value.
Let Fremantle take him.

Who on earth says that?
IIRC the general consensus around here pre-2011 was that only one of Jones and Moloney could play a part in our team. Both showed otherwise this year.
-
Yeah, about that...
-
I believe that Scully will be better than Pendlebury.
Big statement.
Pendlebury is in the Judd and Ablett tier. The latter two at their best impact games more but Pendlebury is more skilled all-round and is way more consistent, I reckon.
Scully will be one of the best players in a few years, but Pendles is something else.
-
did anyone notice how many suitcases he checked in?
Think I only saw Tom holding one.
-
Never met him, have no sources, don't break bread from anyone of the Scully family - can you please tell me what you know of him? And who has told you about what you've heard of him?
Can't remember exactly who said it (Lyon, Trengove probably) but they said he's a straight forward guy who doesn't play games.
I don't have any direct links with Tom.
-
Yep - this was reported this morning on the SFS. Do you believe it?
From what I've heard about what Tom's like as a person, yeah, I do.
-
Tom at the airport said he hasn't made a decision as of yet, and that he was just having a look, as you would with any offer.
-
Add me to that group too, as of right now he is a demon. Treat him like one.
Shame a lot of people have a differing view. One look at the MFC Facebook group says it all - they want Scully gone.
Scully has done nothing to suggest he's going to GWS. He's weighing up others as every single player does during their career. Shame the media translates that into something completely different and a bigger shame that some people believe it.
-
Scully tipped to visit GWS in the next few days yet there's no source backing it up
EFA.
-
Murphy? A solid Brownlow chance Eth I would have thought. Had a fantastic year.
Overall a pretty accurate squad I think ('cept for Betts and Murph .. agree with WYL there).
Sorry, was also referring to Rob.
-
Voted for the defender.
We've got Strauss who I'm 100% confident will make it, but I reckon we need another gun kick.
We've got key forwards in Watts, Cook, Fitzpatrick and Martin/Jamar/Gawn, small forwards in Maric and Wonaeamirri and inside midfielders in McKenzie, Moloney, Gysberts, Sylvia, Trengove and Scully. We lack that other defender.
Blease and Tapscott will both be more damaging pumping it inside 50 rather than out.
-
Palmer has signed a four year deal with GWS.
-
Murphy got lucky, but otherwise, a good squad.
Frawley and Moloney were our two best chances, and they would be in the top 50 I'd imagine.
-
The day I don't renew 1 of two things have happened
1) I have died
2) The MFC has died
Likewise.
-
The Russian was consistently just outside the six best, I reckon, hence the lack of votes.
The votes don't reflect how different an impact he and Green had throughout the season.
And congrats to Jack. Does he actually get an award for this?
-
Mark Robinson. Enough said.
-
He plays loose because he reads the footy better than just about anybody in the AFL, and, as you mentioned, he's courageous and a good leader.
Like Ben Reid, except we'd rather let Garland and Chip physically take on the forwards.
-
Demon Land7, from sixth, is the 2011 premier. Nice work.
Almost won the consolation grand final from the equivalent...so congrats to 45HG16 on that win too.
-
"Demonland" League Dream Team Premier 2011
Congrats mate, from the Supercoach premier. From fourth, too.
The league was ranked 1437 out of 41267, so it was strong. Proud of that one

6 - Jordie McKenzie
5 - Brent Moloney
4 - James Frawley
3 - Rohan Bail
2 - Jeremy Howe
1 - Matthew Bate

we should use scully compo picks now.drafts being better than others is crap. its how you develop players. get the kids in now so they're closer in age to trenners, watts and co. rather than wait another year or two. need a core group similar age. we also need to be aggressive at the trade table because most of our cusp players are contracted until end of next yr.

Drafts being better than others is not crap. Look at the 2001 draft.
