Nothing wrong with Geelong IMO, especially when we are there clones.
WHAT THE [censored] ARE YOU ON

If we'd lost that one game, our ruck division would be: Jamar, Kruiser and Nic Natanui. WOWOWOWOW!!!!
That's if we picked Kreuzer and Nic Nat. I doubt we needed to pick two ruckmen with top picks. The rest of our picks would be completely different too.
I'm very happy with Fitzy and Gawn and I think Jamar is handling being the No.1 ruckman fine. Well, better than he was handling being No.2.

And a forward line with Watts, Jurrah, Petterd, and Bate will be fine with marking enough ball - mainly because Scully, Trengove, McKenzie, Gysberts, Bennell, and Grimes will be shovelling it down their throat - with quality and quantity - for a decade.
Plus Fitzpatrick and that's pretty awesome
-
same applies to ablett, selwood and bartel.

To make way for:
JORDAN GYSBERTS
Edit: Straight after this was posted I found out he's playing.
-
yes and we'll have to be "super competetive"
Which we've proved we can be against top sides
-
Lot of ground to cover for Fitzpatrick to crack into the forward line next season that already has Jurrah, Watts, Bate, Petterd, Wonaeamirri, Bennell, Green, Sylvia, Jetta & Miller all jostling for position.
How many of them are 2 metres tall?

Attitude will go along way to winning this game at the Cattery. I am glad we are Rank outsiders. It means we can spend the day Hunting.
But it will depend on Melbournes attitude. That's why i think it's a great idea to go down there on Friday.
Treat it just like last weeks Darwin Game.
A win would put the season right back on track-it's a long shot, but it has been done before. Geelong only need to be 1% off, whilst we must be ready to sense that
Beamers 100th game might just be the ingredient.
The key ingredient IMO.
And remember - we were at $13 (?) to win against Collingwood, and we should've won too.
-
MELBOURNE coach Dean Bailey called it a super challenge, most simply see Saturday's clash against Geelong as mission impossible.
Oof, that was a little harsh. I mean, we are playing the team who have made three grand finals in three years, winning two of them, and we're consecutive wooden spooners, but we're not Richmond quality or anything. We're serious improvers, probably finals contenders but this article bugs me because it's almost as if Michael Horan's saying we're crap. Well, it seems that way to me anyway. But if we exert the pressure we did against Collingwood and Brisbane we're in with a shot, and it seems like we do that best when we're underdogs.
The comments are really great to see though, only one person saying Gary Ablett will get leather poisioning for getting 134 disposals (biased Cats supporter IMO) but most of the others are saying 'Don't write the Dees off', 'Might cause an upset' etc.
Thoughts?

The Gabba ground has been a joke this year. And there was talk of moving games to Carrara. Its pity this discussion has become a Pie bashing thread when the Gabba playing surface is the problem
Well, maybe they should've fixed it pre-season.

Tim Watson saying she's 16 or 17. I hope she is 17 (not that it makes it a whole lot better), and I hope it was consensual (which from reports it is).
According to the Today Show this morning she told the Saints players she was 18.
-
I'll start it off...
Tapscott is crap, I mean he has done nothing but sit pretty on that injury list and waste our time.
He has shown nothing, and we should have redrafted Luke Molan with pick 18. We'll end up regretting the decision to draft him.
Nine rounds in and you say he's a dud pick when he hasn't played an AFL or VFL game.
-
Jedi Jack.
If he can jump as high as one that will be great to watch
-
Moloney will play his 100th game against...Geelong.
-
you might be right there redleg, but I was under the impression that if you contest the charge you lose out on the bonus of accepting the lighter penalty for an early plea. you risk the full penalty (which was 2 weeks to be downgraded to 1 with a 25% reduction for 'good behaviour' and an early plea), if the tribunal rules against you. The tribunal may rule in your favour and downgrade the penalty and/or charge if we win. That may mean no suspension or 1 week. but it won't go up from the potential 2. confused?????? me too!
So if the appeal is thrown out, the early plea is taken away, which means 2 weeks.
If they accept the appeal though, they may choose whether to downgrade it to 1 week (but with less points) or no weeks.
Am I right?
-
Hahahahaha

...unless there is an injury & we're short in the middle.
Gys, you've got your first AFL game on Saturday.
-
:) :) :) :)
-
Kennedy gives Sylvia broken jaw - Walks away
Moloney gives Port player not-so-high bump leaving no injury whatsoever - 1 week
Tell me what's wrong.

What bull[censored]
Oh well, at least Gys will be able to debut and rack up 30 touches.

Mark Thompson didn't want to comment on Melbourne's future and how good he reckoned they would be. I reckon that was pretty poor from Bomber.
