    Ditto.

Ran off and looked guiltily over his shoulder.

I thought you were going to abstain from reading my posts. Not a man of his word?

Is there a huge difference? I think not. You seem to be having trouble dismounting from your high horse.

Yes oh master! Whatever you say sir. McQueen made assumptions that the punch was not aimed at Brayshaw's face but his gut. Is this not defending his actions in some way? Off your high horse mate.

Just read the whole thread to find them for yourself.

You wouldn't be affected if that was done to your brother? Andrew physically and Angus mentally. Must be a terrible situation for Hamish too.

Read the entire thread and you will see who they are for yourself. McQueen for starters?

It wasn't Gaff that took it on the chin. Many posters here are almost condoning Gaff's thuggery. My real symphathy goes to the entire Brayshaw family. Hope this incident doesn't stop Angus from showing us his real talent.

What is the umpire signalling in the video? Surely not play on. Has he got tunnel vision?

He wouldn't be a good fit at MFC now. Can't imagine Angus being too friendly after his young brothers injury. Disgraceful by Gaff. Probably get off with a reprimand. Remember, he is an Eagles player.
  12. OK, what an unfounded assumption to state that we would have struggled against 15 sides today. Not very logical. Don't you think players respond to stronger opposition? Fritsch is a great , accurate kick. He will rival the likes of Oliver and Salem in this area. How can you say GC were the worst side in the HISTORY of the AFL? Have you seen every team since inception. Sure, they are not strong but you can't make unfounded statements like that. Your thoughts mate but I have to disagree with you.
  13. One more win gets us into the finals with our fantastic percentage. Basically, our finals series starts next match with a TRIPLE chance.
  14. I hope our players are not thinking like many posters on this forum. If they do we will lose and kiss goodbye to another season. Remember, they beat Sydney just two weeks ago.
  15. Garlett puts so much pressure on opposing backs. What an example of controlled fumbling last week. He never really lost control and eventually found a teamate for a goal assist.
  16. TV much more guide than being at the game. Gets you in nice and close to the action..
  17. And some people think our boys dont care if they win or lose. That video says it all. They not only suffered a gut wrenching defeat but worked their backsides off and would have been physically exhausted. Let's be realistic, how many would have predicted getting beaten after the siren at Geelong?

How many chances do you want to give to Weids? Sadly he has failed the test each time he is given a chance. Too many times.
  19. Really bad break for Nic Nat. Hope he recovers quickly and plays again. Given Max Gawn's rise to the premier ruckman in the Afl for at least the last two seasons has anyone given thought that if we had chosen Nic Nat instead of JW Maxy most probably wouldn't be in our team and possibly playing for another club. So we made the right choice I reckon. Just food for thought. I know who is the more valuable player.
  20. Its amazing how stats give no indication of a game at times. If I had been told before the game that we would win only one stat, (hit outs) I would be expecting a heavy loss rather than a big win. They do lie at times. Keep it going Demons!!!!!

Hardly weak against Port when the going got tough. Old Melbourne problem, against lower teams think it is a gimmee. Afraid Weids aint no Murray Weidemann. I would drop Petty and Weids and bring in Frost and Jeffy.
  22. Very happy for Jack. I sincerely hope he can capture some of the form he displayed in his early Melbourne days All the very best mate.

Steady as a rock on the half back flank. Mr Relliability. Came to Melbourne via the thirds with Ron Barassi, and Bluey Adams. Donny Williams too I think. Bob Johnson as well? RIP Geoff.
  24. Remember Kenny very well. He came across from Richmond and could kick with either foot. Something not too prevalent these days. He was a rover and forward. Glad he had a good innings. RIP Ken.
