Granted it would make officiating a lot easier, but they can do so much better with the goal review system as it stands. Starting with better technology and having reviewers who are a bit more experienced than Darryl from the cafeteria. If they can’t get it right then either do away with the system all together or change the rule in line with what you are suggesting.

Remains to be seen how well they do come finals time. If they are knocked out in straight sets then it's much ado about nothing. They looked very ordinary on the weekend. A percentage of 71.89 conceding less points than Carlton, Melbourne, Bulldogs, North and Saints. Could very easily be sitting pretty on 7 wins. Not bad for a side expected to be wholly non competitive.
