Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Yep don't think anyone's giving up 2 first rounders for an out of contract player that will name 1 club for his destination.

His disposal stands out like dogs balls it's that good.

Makes up for Essendrug ripping us off for Milkshakes, he's been fantastic.

Not if he costs the farm $ and picks wise. We have competent recruiters now.

Apart from those circumstances, they wouldn't offer him an acceptable length deal, something well within their control. They were more than happy to give longer term contracts to players like Hurley who they were desperate to retain, Hibberd was clearly not a priority, and I'm not sure why we've made it one given the number of HBFers we already have, even though he may be a minor upgrade on some of them.

Landing a 27yo that Essendon didn't even particularly try to retain is hardly a coup. Hope we get a later round pick upgrade if we trade away our only valuable pick for him.

Funny how players become so good during a non playing period of almost 2 years, Milkshake and Hibberd were very ordinary in their last seasons for Essendrug. Milkshake is ours so fully support him, but imo Taylor should weave his magic with our first pick rather than blowing it on a 27yo convicted drug cheat in Hibberd.

Delistings
Probably true, but what would we get for him realistically? A 3rd rounder, probably not worth it given the development we've put into him already.

Delistings
I think we dumped Evans when he was contracted, or rather he rejected a rookie spot offer. No way will we get rid of ANB.

Better than just quite agile. Was top 3 at the combine

Nah, Parish can actually win a contested ball, Toump couldn't/can't win a contested possession to save himself.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Nah, Parish wins his own footy, we'd have taken some outside player with a contested % of 20 like Toumpas

They avoided Toumpass with this strategy though

NFL
I know nothing about NFL, but this Newton guy is a choker.

Nice to hear he was hoping to be drafted to Melbourne.

He had Toumpas in that category too mind you. Taylor hasn't put a foot wrong since he's been here though, no doubt he's made the right choices. Really? Seemed Worsfold couldn't read his name out quick enough.

Lol Parish looks like a small child
-
Darcy Parish
She had Yarran and Watts top 2 in 2008, not concerned about her ranking of Parish.
-
Darcy Parish
Except Parish can win a contested ball. He averaged 28 disposals in the TAC cup,16 contested apparently, Toumpas averaged about 30% or less contested possessions IIRC. That's why I don't think he'll be a Toumpas.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Assume he is OOC since he was drafted in '13, haven't seen him at all, but sounds like he's delist material despite battling injuries, maybe a rookie spot, was very left field at the time.
