  1. Stretch. We need some better disposers. For the rest, in the absence of any decent alternatives, the likes of Weideman keeps his place. Such is life. Kent on the other hand ...
  2. Yes, but we have the two Smiths, Keilty, then Vandenberg plays tallish ... not to mention Gawn, Spencer and Hogan. ALL of them are out injured.
  3. Maybe. But having both Gawn and Hogan out for big slabs of the season is the difference, and it's a big difference.
  4. No Hogan, no Gawn the big difference still. No real forward targets or structure. We're winging it, just.
  5. Why not broaden this out? For example, we could have all 18 teams play each other over say, 6 months or so, then take the leading 8 to play off in a finals round.
  6. You can join this by month or whatever. It's the AFL's international streaming service. Works well. https://www.watchafl.com.au
  7. Meanwhile, from a planet far far away ...
  8. Which is what everyone said about this time. Laughable, and based on nothing except fevered imaginations, the same ones who predicted that both her and Wilders would win. There are only so many uneducated bigots to go round, and she's at her limit.
  9. Head damage (or injury) and concussion are not necessarily the same thing. You can have the former without the latter.

  11. Inside info? (wouldn't surprise though ...)
  12. Go on then. Stats to back it up? Here, I'll save you the trouble: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_hour_worked 1 Norway 75.18 2 Luxembourg 73.22 3 United States 67.32 4 Belgium 60.98 5 Netherlands 60.06 6 France 59.24 7 Germany 57.36 8 Ireland 56.05 9 Australia 55.87 10 Denmark 55.75 11 Sweden 55.28 12 Austria 54.83 13 United Kingdom 51.38 The usual ignorant BS. Stick to footy, you know nothing about France, or Europe for that matter.
  13. More than just a coincidence that except for the first one, these are all happening in the VFL? More sniping going on at a lower level?
  14. I'm sure Angus will have access to the best possible advice and treatment.
  15. Kudos amongst it all to Jeffy Garland. That "how did he get that" mark near the end of the third quarter, 1 on 2 ... one for the ages.
  16. There's nothing we saw last night that we haven't already seen this year - just not as consistently or for as long. It's a performance that they've dangled in front of us all year, which is partly why it's been so frustrating. At least now we know what they're capable of. And so do they.
  17. Credit to the coaches. We're up against a well-oiled machine here, but pressure and intent is fantastic.
  18. If we get within 6 or 7 goals, we'll be doing well. No Gawn/Hogan wreaks havoc with our structures. Such as they are.
