how did we go backing up after our Darwin game last year? I can't remember

Id feel a lot more confident playing freo without fyfe or sandilands at the G than Darwin. I don't mond keeping the alice springs game but happy to ditch darwin even though it's a nice escape in our winter.

We still have no game plan on what to do when we have to kick out when the opposition scores a behind. Other teams seem to be able to clear it out but our plan just seems to be kick it down the line. Its so predictable.

I learnt something today. Don't go to the footy thinking you are just going to win. I think the players thought it was just going to win. That was the worst game ive seen them play in ages. I've never seen our backline play so badly. Jetta will hopefully never play that badly again, Oscar was beaten and it just looked out of sorts.
