I watched the final. quarter of this. Brilliant game. 3 goals down at the 20 minute mark and they win. Lennon missing after the siren will hurt for awhile. But I like this story, a club thats not involved with an AFL Club, nearly kicked out, going broke and cant get sponsors. But dug deep and now premiers. Garry ayres should be commended. Unlucky not to do more AFL coaching. Plus they came up against a vfl team that is buzzing as a whole at the moment. Plus it may set a precedence for the week for Richmond.

Im at the storm prelim final tonight. At least 1 team i support plays finals, so will be checking scores. Hope the crows win. As for tomorrow i thinkthe tiges get the job done. Not sure if I can handle a week of hearing about the tiges in a gf. Part of me wants them to stuff up like only Richmond can. But I don't want the giants in a gf. Only if i knew that they would lose.

Yeah I often see Paul Wheatley on my train. I thought he was some sort of tradie. The good thing about Trengove is I think he will be ok after footy. He is at uni and he seems like a kid who is smart and knows what to do after footy. There are some AFL players and former ones you just look at and think what the hell are you going to do after footy, and they havent really set themselves up.

Rawlings has been around since the neeld days. We still dont have a proper game plan in terms of kicking out. The others came in from Roos apart from Chaplin. Sometimes a fresh voice is good and we may need to get some newbies in. I see the pies have snapped up Boyd already from the dogs. I think hodge would be great especially for someone like viney because he could help him out so much on how captaincy and leadership and would also be good for Oliver to I reckon. But I think the media beckons for him.

I gave the cats a chance tonight but never ever thought they would get out to this margin. Thankgod the swans played badly tonight and not last week. But I do admire the way geelong have responded. They were humiliated last week and they have come out tongiht to prove apoint. Next week Danger going back to the adelaide in a prelim against his old team for a spot in the big one. That should add something to it.
