Finals Week 1
Happy for Ken Hinkley. He embraced the pressure he was to come under at the start of this season. He has coached htis team beautifully. They have 1 foot in the GF.

Rawlings Leaves
Do nth have to pay out the remainder of his 2 years. Gee that's a bit awkward moving your brother on. Nth seem to be a rabble. They want to trade there forward, I mean who will kick there goals next year? Higgins may move on which to me is a mistake because he has been great for them and provides experience. On another note I see essendon have put sheedy on there board. Isn't time essendon moved on and started new without him. I mean they sacked him as coach years ago and he is still there in the background. I know he was obviously at gws but surely at some stage you have to cut the apron strings.

Finals Week 1
So long as west coast put the pies out. That's all that matters. Honestly I'd love to see a port/brisbane gf. I don't hate either team and I think it would be good to see different teams in it. Love to see brisbane knock off the tigs and port win tonight. Dogs/saints not fussed who wins.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Gee our former players have been naughty. Watts leaving the scene of a car crash, Harley ending up in hospital, breaching covid and now Jesse.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Well we gave him a chance and he didn't make the most of it. I wonder if 5 10 years down the track Harley looks back and thinks what could have been. He had all the talent but never took advantage of it. I hope he gets his life to a peaceful place.

John Northey on the Front Bar
His comments about Geoffrey Edelsten were hilarious. His story about the pre season camp was gold. Could you imagine that taking place these days having someone dress up as a hillbilly and firing shots at you while you are running. Lawsuits everywhere. He sounds just as frustrated with melbourne as everyone else is.

Jack Watts Retires
Not a surprise Did he get everything out of his career, no, did he get himself to the right fitness level an afl player needs, probably not but there has never been such a scrutinised number 1 pick before. I will always be grateful for him kicking the winning goal against the pies on queens birthday. I hope he has a successful future post retirement. also thankgod I will never have to put up with another jack Watts thread.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
If we did get him he'd probably take the oppositions best full back therefore giving weiderman a free up by having the 2nd or 3rd best defender on him.

NON MFC: Round 18
Enjoy your trip to Perth Collingwood. Hope you get thrashed.

NON MFC: Round 18
Go port, send those pies to perth

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
It's a shame his name isn't Eddie McGuire, apparently you can jump on the afl hub private flight, then go out to a nightclub and claim you are there to see how restaurants are running so he can take ideas back to victoria. I know he is doing hot seat up there but what is his role, president, victorian events board member or game show host? I'm guesisng because he has been out and about he won't be able to catch up with the collingwood team.

OUR SEASON
Our season ended with a covid breach, inappropriate touching and we missed the finals. However there are positives, May and Lever clicked in the backline, rivers was a great get, Jackson will be a key player for us and petracca stepped up a gear.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Stuart dew was caught urinating outside a QLD pub. Disgusting and would expect better from a senior coach. Wonder if he will get a talking to.

NON MFC: Round 18
Ok so we need port to win tomorrow, then the pies have to go to perth and play west coast, west coast win and put them out of the finals. Job done. I can't help but feel if we won another game it would be the filth sitting 9th

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Melbourne players have just switched off the game and realised they wasted another season.

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Do we want to play west coast in perth in an elimination final especially with there crowd? I think of someone like may who has yet to play one and after his season he probably deserves to. Maybe playing a final without josh kennedy and some of there other key players potentially missing it could be a good time to get them but I still remember the prelim.
-
Inappropriate Touching
I was more annoyed that it happened at 3/4 time when goody was addressing the team. I mean seriously why would you think that would be appropriate. Can't people just keep there hands to themselves? If this happened in any other workplace that person would be in a bit of trouble.

NON MFC: Round 18
Well here we go. At least we are making the dogs earn there spot and not just hand 8th spot to them. Go Freo
-
NON MFC: Round 18
Gee it would be kind of funny if the swans win and the cats lose the double chance.
-
NON MFC: Round 18
bugger Taberner out for freo. With no walters it makes it harder for freo and us.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Financially this will cost us and seriously Harley just when I thought you'd got yourself together you did this. I don't care if he was told he won't be offered another deal. He is still a melbourne listed player until either tonight if the dogs win or if the miracle occurs when our finals campaign is over. Ugh!

NON MFC: Round 18
Gee anyone see geelongs ins? Not bad in the last game before finals you can bring in an ablett, selwood, rohan and to a lesser extent steven. Longmire would have thought are you kidding me. Gee gold coast hawthorn at 1:10. Might bypass that one.

NON MFC: Round 18
I expect Brisbane to win comfortably against carlton. On a side note you know the best thing about covid this footy season. It stuffed up essendons plans to celebrate there 20 year reunion and it stuffed up collingwoods plans to celebrate there 10 year reunion.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Ha just had a scroll through bomberblitz and they are going on about mitch brown and typical that he plays his best game against his former club and who got rid of him. He had 13 marks and 20 disposals and 6 score involvements. Not sure if he wanted to show something in case he thought it could be his last game but I'd back him in next year.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
There have been some positives this year with players. May to his credit came back fit and put in a sensational year and should be AA full back. Trac we finally saw his potential and what he is capable of We have found a great kid in Rivers and jackson is also going to be good Oliver just continued on with his form I'm sure there were more positives but another pre season next year I would be furious if we aren't in the 8.
