Agree I went to that saints game not even having a worry. That taught me a lesson. But today surely history cannot repeat itself. Yes this Gold Coast team knocked off sydney 2 weeks ago but I would like to think we will put the perfect game together today. If this club is serious about finals the 22 will run out today, win and win well. Today is a good day to boost our percentage. But excited to go and looking forward to seeing Vanders back in the red and blue.

I think its we find out if the 22 players that run out tomorrow can deal with expectation and want a top 4 spot desperately.

What I enjoyed about this game was a number of things. Seeing Lewis kick 2 goals Yes even I thought JKH was good. His goal was great and it was nice to see the boys all go up to him, also that pass he did to Oscar when he could have just blazed away. Oliver is just fantastic and Gawn just rucked so hard all night. Harmes did a great job on Sloane Our backline was outstanding. To keep there tall forwards to only 1 goal between them was a great effort and I enjoy seeing Frost run out of the backline. That last quarter was hard to watch because I just expected the worst but we obviously learnt from last week and the way we defended was fantastic. I do have one negative. I was away but still saw the game but with no volume but had recorded it so came home to watch it, especially the 2nd half but for some reason it cut out after an hour. Not happy.

Seriously i know it's a winter sport but why would u put a game on in the middle of winter in ballarat?

Who else has woken up this morning thinking what could have been. My thought was why didn't we have more players getting back in the backline so we could crowd it like they did to us in parts and have more at the touhy contest. Also was Jetta his opponent? Also I kind of wish Goodwin did a beveridge and give the boys a blast afterwards. He may of but he probably didn't. I hope the review tomorrow is harsh and they show what they stuffed up in the last 2 minutes. Its always Hawkins though that plays his best games against us. Its soooo frustrating.
