Even though Joe is a restricted FA next year I hope he obviously holds off talks until the end of the year and leaves. The only downside to that is we will have a whole year of will he/won't he. I hope he goes up to sydney during the year and buys a house during the year then at the end says well I want to move clubs. Then hopefully essenscum just fall down.

Ha I love the fact that Joe wants out of bomberland. Of course Id be devastated if Viney ever walked out on us being a father/son pick but Im not sure if Joe really dealt with the father son hype and being the key forward But essenscum fans are going nuts and yes he is a key forward but one who has been plagued by injuries so he is not worth a top 10 pick. It will be interesting to see how they get this deal done because they reckon essendon is the hardest club to deal with during trade week. Hopefully this sets them back years
  3. I feel a bit devastated about losing Frost. Why did we never offer a contract to him and why does he want to leave? I mean when Lever and May went down he was there. I thought he did a good job. Ok he may have turned the ball over a few times, but his pace was good and he was a long kick.
  4. Congrats to Max. I mean it was always going to be between him and Oliver. I thought Fritta would have been a bit higher. The fact viney came 3rd does surprised me. But he did come 3rd by a long way off top spot. Gee Petracca came 5th. If one day he actually puts together a consistent full season then he will win one. Well that has put a full stop on season 2019. Please lets not go through another season like that again please.

The gws memes that have been going around on social media have been quite good. Here in the g now there is a good spread of orange. Way more than you see at a home and away game

Well it will either be close or Richmond will blow gws out of the water. I know we have spoken of scully but I wonder how shiel feels today as well I just think how marlion feels today waking up. You think of the legends who never won a premiership. Lockett, ablett skilton and this guy could just waltz in win a flag in his 1st ever game and get life membership

Well done to fyfe. A superstar player, a great captain and an all round nice guy. Happy to see him win.

They left Col out of the memorium segment. Maxy just tweeted it out. That's an oversight.

Gee hasn't brayshaw's brownlow count changed a lot in a year?

Wow maxy got the 3 on Queens Birthday. Go Max.

Gosh when did Tiernan Stynes suddenly grow up and get so tall?

I thought it was a black tie event so why does Danger think he can rock up in a red velvet jacket?

Gee if you want an assistant coaching job get one under clarko. So may of his assistants have gone on to win flags, now Leon Cameron gets his chance.

At least we can wake up in the morning and not have this awful realisation that collingwood are in another grand final. Grundy dominated but he also botched it as well. I feel if that was gawn in those final hitouts he would have handled the situation better and tapped it straight down the throat of one of our blokes or just smashed it forward.

GWS need Davis to play next week or Lynch and Riewoldt will go bang.

Yeah I can remember when they used to send Garry down to ticketek and it would be sold out in 10 minutes. The only bad thing about the footy show is Sam will be back and who knows what rant he will go on about. On the other hand Trev is back and I'm sure he will have a few jokes coming Ed's way.

Each gf day I have a bet on the 1st goal kicker. Toby Greene might be a good choice. But has someone told the GWS supporters that there is a gf parade on the day before and it would be probably be nice for the giants to have some supporters there.

They have lost a gf and now a prelim by a total of 9 points. Admittedly if that was us you would be totally gutted. Not sure how much coverage it will get in sydney but they got there. Well at least Jordan D'Goey will be right for the pre season with his magic hamstring work done by Hans. Just saw Kevin Sheedy will present the cup if the giants win. Well Bucks is free to present the norm smith medal now. It's his turn. But I get why they got Simon Black to do it.

I think I actually enjoyed seeing them lose by 4 points. I mean when Cameron kicked the goal in the final term I was hoping they would go on and bury them but as nerve racking as it was to watch, I kind of enjoyed seeing them lose another tight final.

Christ, I always thought the pies would come back and in those few minutes I suspected they would win. I had an image of a pies player marking it before or on the siren and kicking a goal to win. Thankyou GWS. I don't really like you but you have done something really good this afternoon. Now we won't have to put up with a week of a tigs/pies grand final. They didn't even make the top 4 and beat the dogs, lions in brisbane and now the pies. In saying that i'm a tad annoyed that these gews supporters may see there team win a premiership after being in the competition only 10 years. But gee the defending of gws in those final moments was fantastic, to do it with all those players missing and Davis playing injured it was a great effort. Now I can enjoy the grand final. I can just cope if the tigs did win, more so than the pies winning. But it will be interesting to see how the giants will cope on the big stage. It's a different crowd and atmosphere.

I fear this isn't over yet. Collingwood will come hard. But gee gws just look better around the ball and are using it better. I really hope they can hang on. Plus the pies are playing 1 short. Brody Mihocek not a stat.
  22. dees189227 replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
It's like when the pies player gave away a blatant kicking in danger and he says not much in that. The pies player made contact with the giants player hand.

Giants just can't get that goal to get in front. Gee these conditions are made for Toby Greene and he would be doing better than Ian Hill who is having a shocker. Come on giants you are in it, just make smarter decisions instead of just bombing it into the 50. Cameron is a great kick for goal. How was that not grabbing the jumper?
  24. dees189227 replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
If you are mumford you would just bang straight into grundy 1st bounce.

Still blame hawthorn for giving the pies an easy ride to the prelim with gifting them a top 4 chance. Seeing Joffa and all the filth fans walking over the bridge chanting just makes you want to throw up. Hopefully he is looking miserable at the end. Ed to in the stands, hopefully he is looking angry. Interesting to hear David Teague and some of the carlton players were there last night obviously wanting to see his players gain insight to what finals footy is about. I know we were in a prelim last year but some of our young boys that haven't had finals experience hopefully have tuned in to see what finals is all about.
