Agree, how we stuffed that up I will never know. It's an embarrassment actually. But assuming we win tomorrow these are the way I would like tot see the results go this weekend. Hawks to knock of the cats. Only because it would make it harder for the cats who sit outside the 8. If somehow brisbane could knock off the pies that would be awesome in more way than 1. Want Adelaide to beat the giants Power to knock of west coast so it would set up a great game next week. Oh and looking ahead to next week, Richmond thrash essenscum so you can end any chance they had of making finals please. I don't need to hear another week of they can still make the finals.

Gee it would have been a handy forward line down the track if he was able to stay injury free for a few years. Jakovich, Lyon, Schwarz.
-
Not bad was it? I was only young at the time, why did he leave Melbourne?
-
You forgot how good a player he was and his kicking for goal was beautiful to watch. He really was a rare talent and that story he told of squirting the gatorade at the pies fans who were eating a pie at the time then saying how worried he was coming back out after 1/2 time and not sure what side to walk out on but said they are pies supporters so they wouldn't be smart enough to change sides was hilarious. He was great tonight after just disappearing from society. Very funny man. Glad to see he is still keeping an eye on the demons and still being interested in us. I wonder if Clayton Oliver is aware of him.

Or maybe a yellow ribbon on the jumpers or something. But yeah a yellow armband is a good idea. It would stand out more than a black armband and not that it needs any more awareness but it would make people aware of challenge charity which he supported. Maybe we could do a 1 minute applause for him to before the game.

Gawn walking laps in tracksuit, HS telling us not to panic...

Melbourne’s most important player, the rampant @gawndog37, jogs laps then leaves track early ahead of Syd clash ... @7NewsMelbourne -
Just so sad. I don't even like golf but he just seemed like a really nice person and he is only 36. Far to young. Feel so sad for his family but his wife and his 2 daughters who are so young. another good person taken way to early. It's a shame he didn't get to see this footy club at its best. Paul Roos mentioned on mmm last sunday that a couple of years ago Jarrod contacted the club and wanted to come down and just have a word to them. They could use his inspiration and courage for the next few weeks. Id assume we would wear black armbands in tribute for him this weekend.

Look he is going to cop his just desserts. People are pretty fired up about this today and rightly so. But I think there is only a set of people who can really comment and that is his family. Reading this article I couldn't imagine what his family had thought sitting there and seeing this happen to there son. Obviously Angus was a bit rattled to. https://www.news.com.au/sport/sports-life/his-mum-was-in-tears-emotional-scars-for-brayshaw-family-as-bad-as-physical-damage/news-story/326fefd325fd091dafe746d9850d0d0c

So brayshaw has a broken jaw 3 teeth that needed fixing and cannot eat solid foods for 4 weeks and his season is over. Gaff has to at least get more than bugg
-
Wow what an ending to see r20 off. Friday saturday was all about how good the game is, we don't need rule changes how good were the close games and today was all about the thrashings and gaff breaking a players jaw. Gaff may have stolen the thunder from saints, suns and blues who were terrible. I think more needs to be made from that saints loss. That was a poor effort from them.
-
Broken jaw and surgery for brayshaw. Poor kid. Gaff has to get more than bugg Could be awkward at west coast with Andrews brother Hamish at west coast and he's just seen a teammate break his brothers jaw.
-
That was a coward hit by gaff. On a young kid who was standing there minding his own business. Bugg copped it big time but gaff won't.
-
Great first half. But wemust keep going and win well.
-
Agree I went to that saints game not even having a worry. That taught me a lesson. But today surely history cannot repeat itself. Yes this Gold Coast team knocked off sydney 2 weeks ago but I would like to think we will put the perfect game together today. If this club is serious about finals the 22 will run out today, win and win well. Today is a good day to boost our percentage. But excited to go and looking forward to seeing Vanders back in the red and blue.
-
These next 4 games are just going to be nerve racking. On another note next friday night Bummers v Saints. What a rippper
-
I think its we find out if the 22 players that run out tomorrow can deal with expectation and want a top 4 spot desperately.
-
What a great day. Bummers lose and the pies lose both by tiny margins. Ok melbourne team no pressure but if you can handle it tomorrow we can be in 3rd spot. Wow AFL I don't think we need zones and 6 on 6 and all that crap. This round has been great. Footy will fix itself.
-
Does a draw help things?
-
oh god not another close one
-
Lets hope that his kicking foot is his sore one and he has a painful week with it. But good to see he found form against the pies, lets hope its out of his system. Lets hope the swans keep going and knock down the pies percentage as well.
-
I suppose Frost has the pace to go with him to. Maybe we just need to limit the ball use down there. Also did the pies score at all in that 3rd term?
-
Um has anyone wondered what Buddy is going to do to us next week? Frost or Oscar will be on him and my god he may do some damage.
-
barrack for sydney. We don't want the pies to finish top 4. We want there spot tomorrow.
-
Moore off with another hammy injury. Swans somehow need to take advantage of this and get Buddy 1 out. Come on sydney Just say Ken's presser. Yes they have have got a dodgy goal decision go against them but they still had 2 and a half minutes to score. Also did Wines do a Raynor and instead of a drop punt he went around the corner?
-
Sydney have to win tonight. For a few reasons, so the pies can be knocked out of the top 4, they get ahead of the teams below them like cats, nth, essenscum and im sick of hearing abut the pies winning. anyway is anyone watching the game of the round Saints v Bulldogs? Saints have started well and I reckon they will beat the dogs. Well done hawks today. I just watched the last 2 minutes off the afl site. I think it makes it sweeter they lost by a small margin. I couldn't help myself. I had to go over to bomberblitz for a laugh.
